I've removed the top fairing now, but I'll keep the belly pan. I've got some proper indicators now too, getting rid of those gay mini ones!

Btw, I filled it up with petrol last week cost 15 quid for 140 miles, as opposed to my Jeep (also in picture) that cost 53.00 to do 203 miles this week!! :eek2:

This one is my 1996 CBR900RR-T Fireblade. This is the one with the newer 918cc engine that went in later bikes up until 2001, but this year it still had the smaller body with the Foxeye front end. I really liked it, but it did me back in.

This picture is my ZX-9R B1. This was a really comfortable bike, well fast actually, I'd say quite likely faster than the 'Blade. It's main downfall was that it went round corners like a pig on a skateboard. I rode it on a 6 day 2600 mile round trip around Europe, it was comfy and could maintain good speeds, but in the company of R1s and GSX1000s it showed it's shortcomings in the twisty bits. Nearly killed me a couple of times in the Pyrenees

I have never been a fan of Fireblades, I know they are shit hot and all but I have never yearned for one. The ZX9 is my cup of tea though, always liked Kawasaki, and your ZX9 is lovely throd, nice colours. Have to say I thought my ZX6 handled shit as well but I thought it was just me, it never flowed through corners.

The ZX-6R is ok handling mate, so are the later ZX-9Rs, its just the early B models that are legendarily shite handling.

I'd have a 2000 ZX9R no worries, a good bike.

The Blade was just an awesome handling bike though, particularly after the Kawa

I tried really hard to find a Bandit 1200 that I was happy with but alas I failed. So I turned to Kawasaki again, I have always been a Kwak fan anyway and I have ended up with a 2005 Z750, the first fuel injected bike I have ever had and it is a different world, so smooth and wheres the bloody fuel tap!! Very very happy with it.

Nice one mate, that will do the job I'm just in the process of looking for a new exhaust for mine at the moment. Fairing is now removed, Renthals still on, belly pan still on, gay mini indicators removed and standard ones fitted, the bike is getting used on an (almost) daily basis, and is going well!

I am thinking of Renthal bars for mine but......how the fuck do I know which to get etc? Do the bar ends fit straight onto them?

Mine now has standard can back on it, found one on Ebay for a fiver had to swap them because of insurance, with can £180 with standard £74 per year. Will be better when my 9 cocking points have gone (June 2011).

The bike how it is today, I'm beginning to feel happy with its looks now, though a pipe in still required as the bloody thing is silent, and on these a pipe is worth a good 10 horsepower easy

Note rust on lower parts on the bike from the good old British winter, no worries that will get sorted soon!

Yes the Z750 is far better to ride than the Ninja, very comfy indeed so it worked out for the best I guess. The Z750 fucking flies as well, really surprised me, about 110bhp I think.
