Ouchies! Glad it's nothing more serious though, Laz... need to be careful at our age!! ;)

Raises a question for me though - in the bike world, does your insurance cover your leathers and helmet etc aswell?

Ha! :D

I call my boy chunky, its a honour!

Your last one looked a minter so this must be sweet, don't bloody crash it this time you spangle.

I am in the process of wondering if I should sell my bike (that I have never fell off :p ) but I do truly love it.

Me, I've had a year off motorbikes. Well, it's been best part of 30 years... :)

Anyway. This weekend I couldnt stand it any more, so I went and bought me another. Here's a very small picture of it. More to follow :)

Yes it's another 1200 Bandit, this one's a 2003 model. Got a few bits to do, mostly unbolting all the shite the previous owner has put on it, but other than that, great, I'm back :D

Gah throd I like that baby!

My next bike will be a 1200 bandit, wanted the 600 to get used to the weight and stuff before I dived straight in for a 1200.

Better size picture hopefully :)

This is a 2003 GSF1200K3. It's quite nice, though the previous owner appears to have bought every add-on you can buy. I'm in the process of remving them one by one, though I may keep the fairing for a bit, and the belly pan. So far I've got rid of some bloody horrible crash bars and a mudguard extension that dragged on the ground behind the bike (nearly!).

Fly screen and belly pan don't seem right, especially the belly pan, they look best as god intended.

Its lovely mate and if you don't mind me asking who much of your cockney pounds did it cost?

(what the fucks happening with CSS matches btw?)

It retailed at £2895 mate. I got it a bit cheaper than that to be honest :)

Insurance cost the princely sum of £118.00, and £66.00 for a years road tax, as opposed to £400 and £400 for my Jeep .... :(

That'l do the job. I thought about a 100 Fazer to be honest, but the 5 gears of the Bandit and the engine made me vote Suzuki again.

Now go and ride it somewhere :)

had me first night time ride last night. Was fecking cold (5 layers including leather jacket.

Fingers a tad cold (thankfully had me heated grips on) so when I stopped for a pee, I didnt get chillblains on me knob when I whipped it out.

Lights are excellent on the bike (brighter than the car i think)

I've removed the top fairing now, but I'll keep the belly pan. I've got some proper indicators now too, getting rid of those gay mini ones!

Btw, I filled it up with petrol last week cost 15 quid for 140 miles, as opposed to my Jeep (also in picture) that cost 53.00 to do 203 miles this week!! :eek2:

GORGEOUS!!!

Indeed the top fairing makes it somewhat gay'ish.

Totally naked all the way for more agressive look!

If only it were jet black :)

Grats for that beauty

Looks way better now luv, and I like bellypans on naked bikes, gives them a more balanced look somehow.

Sold my ZXR this week :(

Getting a bigger one come May, well I want what you got in all honesty.

Also consider a FZS1000 and a GSX1400 and even a XJR1300 all fair bikes too mate :)

I do like the Bandits though. Few more bits to do to that one yet :)

I love the FZS1000 but they hold their money like fuck.

Bandits seem good value.
