Best solo/farmer ?

What do you all reckons is the best PvE solo/farmer out of all the Alb classes? (This is including the Necro's.)

I think Paladins are pretty damn nice, and Friars. Wizzes lvl fast also, while scouts are nice solo players, but more due to necessity, as no group wants them.
Cabalist are also pretty efficient really.

Necro.. Non-stop pulling of oranges and he kills them fast. Necro has a mana-tap so he can get power BACK with pulling.

Cabalist.. Quite fast pulling of oranges but with a bit of downtime (the time it takes to recycle pets to get mana-back)

Theurgist.. Can kill orange-cons easily (especially a wind-specced theurgist) but theurgists have to wait every few pulls to restore there mana. Furthermore: Most theurgist want earth @ 26 ASAP to get PBT and group easily. Earth has more downtime during levelling solo.

at lvl 8 I solo about 4 yellows at a time (sitting down resting while my pets do the work.) got about 30 sec downtime every 4 yellows.

I crit shot a lesser telamon, go in melee mode and let the 42 shield spec and MoB2 do the job

reds are still possible if tricky, and at low level i could just take purps. however the downtime from this is huge
therugs do better at lower level with less pet range difference, at 50 you can't really relly on the pets to finish off the mob for you, espiecially air ones

thought that orange/reds/purps gave roughly the same xp ?

They do but if you are farming cash, going for reds/purples instead of oranges could mean the difference between sapphire and diamond seals.

Sorcerer is supposed to be good at farming cash but since the pygmies all turned into Arnold Schwarzenegger, it's not been so easy. Reduced to going to DF. :/

Thanks for ur info but let me set you on track, Farming has nothing to do with how fast you can solo yellows, nor does it mean that u can solo red/orange cons. Farming is killing blue/green with ease and no downtime, what I know to know is what class is best suited for this....

Think most classes can do green / blue without downtime. Your question might be 'Who can do it at the highest possible rate'
Most of the caster classes I think would be a good answer ... (caba, sorc on top ?)
I can do it endlessly with my pally using the truckload of chants we got but it's the melee part that takes time. Think Arms / merc would react the same.
My wee scout is pretty good at it too, pop greens / blues very very easily but every once in a while you have to regen end.

With 1.59 it'll be the sorc, mana regen buff will allow near constant slaughter of greens/blues

If you feel like just chatting whilst you farm (IE no hands fighting for most of the time) S/S paladin works quite well, flick on the heal chant, shout pull, hit f6, hit f6 again as each target dies (NB fight BAFing or yell for help MOBs) last target dies....pull another. Used to do this in the promice room, whilst doing homework. It's not fast, but it makes a fair bit of money and you're free to organise stuff with your guild or such.

reason why I say this is because we can chain kill oranges/yellows with little to no downtime. Great for farming in DF

Do u slam em twice? A total of 5 shots released. Mayb 6 if lucky. Using reslam+shot tactic.
