Best PvE guild?

oh yeah, mebbe youve heard of them .. HDS .. Hibernian Dragon Slayers.

Almost always first to rush out to twat Blood, Thing and Jenna when they were camping Ligen (bloody bugged fire bow).
Among the first to get 50s on Hib.
Lead the first successful hits on Legion.
Lead the first guild successful run on all 3 princes (comeback Tits, Furball and Locomo)
Organised and Lead the first -successful- dragon raid, with tactics devised by Sortia DeForester, pre toa, think it was pre-si also.
Organised and Ran "rhionwyns necklace" quest runs for the realm
Organised and Lead the first serious attempt at the Hydra in Fomor, killed it too, but its not been done much since then (its buggy and drops shite)
Organised and Lead the first and only kill on the final Galla boss, as done by Usp
Did the first guild run at the Lost Gods quest in Alta Fearann, oh we had fun being smacked around by those bloody rock golems
Among the first ML10s, the first big run lead by.. yep .. Usp.

Then theres the clatter of Rvr stuff HDS have done as well, but I wont waffle about that. Been a bit of a shift lately, the more serious RvR players moved to Celestius, and yes, Im sure youve heard of them. The less dedicated Rvr players still remain in HDS, names like Slaraigh, Cuchuluhain, Awarkle, Bone... Im sure you've heard of a few of them.

HDS >>> other guilds, simply because theyre the only guild to have Almighty Cuchuluhain, and because of that, they always have pie too.

Everyone has a definition of a PvE guild, but the one I use is a guild that focus's "Officially" on PvE and does this within their guild, not required to really on others.

Many guilds have done this on many servers

And NeonBlue, the only reason TLW members take your constant "zzz" replies to heart is because they are proud of what we have acomplished, im sure you can understand that, its the same as insulting an RvR guild for beating 2+ good groups vs their 1, it wouldnt go down well.

Id agree with templars being a PvE guild tbh, I dont see many if any in RvR anymore and they do PvE together, though not sure on their stance on events etc

Despite the little diversion, some interesting things here.

RvR guilds are indeed generally brutally efficient at storming through the PvE stuff they need. However, its only a means to becoming more efficient in RvR, its not because they enjoy doing PvE particularly (if at all). I regard a PvE guild as one who's goal is to do PvE, perhaps occasionally venturing into RvR because they want points for abilities to gain abilities that make PvE more efficient.

Its about focus and goal really, rather than just because you can do aspects of it well.

Asea minstrel and Asae the friar, only got to lvl 25 though before i went back to playing on mid/pryd

though i doubt i would have stayed even that long if i hadnt been in ferus

I'm going to make the assumption that you RvR more than you PvE because you find it fun to kill other players, and not because you're elitist and think "RP's = respect irl!11" or something..
Based on this, title means nothing, except prestige.. if you care about that.. it's only your ability to kill other players that is important, if that is what you find fun, and tbh imo ML's and artifacts make more of a difference to a character then high RR, and lots of RA's.

I didn't say you're rubbish tho did I?

And yes, I'm bitter for having achieved every Realm Rank and holding the highest LWRP merc spot for the last 2-3 months (on Prydwen)

I could be in a PvE guild too but don't do any PvE and only RvR, and get 400k last week.
