Hmm. In no particular order, a list of only some highlights would be:

- Meeting Bren, Alacaius, Firrin and Graham...joining the Claimhenan Agus Draoidh...and realising that there were other "nutters" to be found out there too.

- The Cameran Event in it's entirety, especially trying to talk sense to Cameran after he'd imprisoned me and Graham within the veinwood trees...and the insane things we tried to say to avert my being sacrificed before the Army of Albion could batter its way through and rescue us.

- The Stone tavern and all conversations within it, especially firewatch philosophy with Shaeffer and Rackor...and verbal sparring with Shamara and Lamont.

- Hendrick

- Sergeant Byron's wonderful touches to the wedding, the wedding itself (especially heckling from the guests and the speeches by Lamont and Cawen), and finally being able to change my name to Einhaender.

- Joining the Order of Knights Templar and the feeling of coming home at long last.

- Storytelling in Vetusta Abbey: I still collapse in hysterics at the thought of Lamont's "WOOF!", Levin's "No way, frog, this is a mutiny" speech...and Aethelstan's incredulous yell of "A flying boat?! You what?!"

- The realisation that, following respecialisation, I was actually useful.

- The first group of five that I killed during a keep take. Hahaha. Vengeance is finally mine.

- The mess in the bowl at the end of beta.

Albs vs. Mids vs. Hibs -> Albs vs. Hibs -> Albs + Hibs vs. Demon -> Mids vs. Albs + Hibs vs. Demon -> Mids vs. Albs vs. Hibs under Demon.

Stupidly funny. And I was only level 10 at the time. :p

- The time I walked into campacorentin from the plains, following the road, and without thinking that I had turning around, somehow walked back out on to the plains. Kinda bizarre.

- Hitting level 30, and doing /who Garris /who Garris /who Garris over and over.

- Having every man and his dog level past me. Stupidly fast.

- The crazy mid-20s exploits of me, Shaeffer, and Ehlias. Drink.. women.. ganking. Best DAOC experience I ever had I think.

- The time I was losing to a yellow troll in Thidranki when Shaeffer and Ehlias appeared out of nowhere and pulled me out of the fire.. or the troll into it. Heh.

- The founding of DoA.

- Having screenshots of Scunner in a gimpy yellow leather hat.

- Getting killed by one of the inquisitors in DF, on the day it opened.

And many more, heh.

Damn right they will. ;) I tend to agree, those hot summer days in Thidranki were some of the best times i've had with this game. I hope we can relive it in the real frontiers.

Still makes me laugh that you are actually still 'roleplay' married to someone else. Never really understood where that other wedding went. Did you roleplay a divorce? Did lamont roleplay the barrister for the defence? I've often wondered.

Of course if you didn't, it means that your marriage to hendrick is both immoral and illegal - nice one. :D

It also makes me laugh that everyone was soooo worried that i'd show up and cause trouble. Like I'd bother your sad little existance in that way! <chuckle>

Oh and the usual "Lady", "Lord" comments about self appointed titles can be inserted here.

On another thread, you instructed the people of Albion Prydwen on who should lead them. On this thread, you deign to instruct people on how they should enjoy their game. All this, and yet you admit to not even playing any more. Perhaps it's a good thing we don't all follow your example, or there would only be tumbleweed blowing across Salisbury Plains.

On this thread, out of 4 pages of people setting out their positive moments, there is only one negative comment - yours. You may not be aware of this, you come across to the casual observer as an arrogant and rather bitter individual. This is a game, people are entitled to enjoy whatever they like about it. It's pretty pathetic that you felt the need to post this here.

Actually, you're wrong on a number of counts. I informed people as to the type of personality which had demonstratively proven to be effective in the past, comparing examples of successful leaders with examples of unsuccessful leaders.

On this thread, you deign to instruct people on how they should enjoy their game.

I don't think I did that in any point of my post. All I did was make a somewhat bemused/amused comment on something posted by someone. At no point was there any level of 'instruction' within my text. Learn to read maybe?

All this, and yet you admit to not even playing any more.

Actually I did mention that I have other accounts which I sometimes play. You may not know of them, but I do. The point I made is that I rarely play as Jadow anymore.

Perhaps it's a good thing we don't all follow your example, or there would only be tumbleweed blowing across Salisbury Plains.

Interesting point actually. If everyone "followed my example" and demanded a game which actually provided something other than continual emain zergs, and the odd spot of fun, would games be more fun because of competition generated by people 'voting with their feet' or would games remain the same?

On this thread, out of 4 pages of people setting out their positive moments, there is only one negative comment - yours.

Actually there are now 2. Three if you include this reply. However, just because someone decides to be a fluffy carebear, doesn't mean that we all need to follow. Personally I thought my post was moderately amusing, and not particularly negative. You disagree, that's your opinion, to which you are entitled.

You may not be aware of this, you come across to the casual observer as an arrogant and rather bitter individual.

Not quite sure what I have to be bitter about.... Sure I'm arrogant. Think about it. Just about anything in the game which you do, I've already done. That's bound to make someone feel arrogant <shrug>.

This is a game,

No really?

people are entitled to enjoy whatever they like about it. It's pretty pathetic that you felt the need to post this here.

Oh so other people are entitled to enjoy whatever they like about it, but if I post something I find enjoyable or amusing then i'm pathetic? Interesting concept.

Basically, I have an opinion on the way certain people have conducted themselves in game. Also the way they've behaved towards me has made me behave in a certain way towards them.

Sru and Myste both went out of their way in the past to curtail my enjoyment of the game for "roleplaying" purposes and also OOC purposes. As a result I feel i'm perfectly entitled to get on their case.

Now Sru has in fact neither apologised, nor taken anything back nor would he. For that he has more respect from me than the lying toadying 'i just want to be your friend' diatribe I recieved from Myste. So if I choose to post something which pokes a little fun at the perpetually married - so what?

What a sudden and thrilling reminder of the only thing that is wrong with this game:

hissy, stupid little arguments that acheive nothing.

Then again, I guess this is more rain on the parade so I'll just shut up now.

NERF!!! :D

Most memorable moment for me would have to be stepping out of Hib PK at Odins Gate into a blizzard, was the first time I had been to an enemy realm. :)

The coolest thing i remeber was when me Ulken and Froler ran in to Vanern to find the big giants, in the beta. Remeber that we ran for like 2h before we found them... and when i saw them, it was like omg!

One more cool thing was the first time i was in emain, and remeber all the albs mids and hibs at amg.

Plankton - lvl 50 warrior
