actualy a couple of times in previous patches i've noticed that sometimes when u port away from the popular player spots as outside of druim ligen ur char is like a ghost there while ur playing somewhere else, if something like that happens then u'll get affected by all those AE chants such as speed etc. around that area where ya "ghost" is located

And yes i think it might be something like that, but ghost must be seen by GoA, mustn't it ? Not the first time i would have get active effects of someone else or chat logs of someone else...

and @ Grisostuff, i think it was an example.

But I don't think goa took or will take time to proove it was a bug, and i'm wondering if they would tell it if they would have known it, after having banned me... it would not be very professional...

hmz mayb i forgot a point or something, but lets say if u have an unknown ghost of yaself standing near a point where croc-ringed bards keep passing by then u'll get their speed no matter where u are :S seen this when farming a bit near innis that i was getting slapped, seein peeps writing/using emotes a lot from somewhere, even tho there was none around me but i still got fop, foh and even speed, buut these effects replaced my buffs at that time so it wasnt anything "great" for me ^^ found out that it was at druim ligen my "other self" was at that time, some weird experience i've seen but dunno if they have fixed it...

Bans/warnings...its the same thing in this matter (refering to my reply on last page)....If you dont get any red lights after the first warning, then you really arent too clever.

i got 3 warnings after all. One which i knew.
The other one My brother used my account in CM and got the 2 other warnings.
so it's like 1 warning for him and 1 for me... its a bit confused, but read it several times you'll understand. then i cant be exused for my bug exploits...
and yes i must be not clever to get a perma ban for something i have not done, and i can't find a solution... so if you're more clever than me and know anything to help me you're welcome

i think if it were that easy to say:

xx distance xx time. bad numbers --> speedhack.


every speedhacker would be kicked instant. i dont think is hard to make some detecting program with those numbers. I doubd goa has something like this. Maybe the game is so crapy bugged and he was having an effect w/o wanting it.

TBH, i think exp bug lvling isnt that bad.. it doesnt give u an advantage in rvr.. i hate people cheating in rvr.. thats from loosers etc.. lagjump is one thing, he did bad but he learned. but the only thing you do by buglvling is giving you less boring time and more fun time. anyway. you deserve a ban if you do... ur up to take the risk. they are up to ban you.

sad game... they will finish before by remaking it than by removing the bugs. Anyway this will never happen.. so users have to control themselfs.. sounds funny. we pay them but we have to control ourselfs agains the bugs. obviously... LOTS OF PEOPLE use lots of bugs. they cant see. i've reported many bug users.. the only answer i got was something baout check sidelogs. but they were always playing.. i wondered why they werent banned.. although pictures were CLEAR. anyway....

I think the thread is done, 222 answers, 4000+views for one day, I can see people did care contrary to whatever we could think and the "injustice" is a part of the game, as it is led by humans.
All what I can say is good luck and have fun, but not too much or you'll be followed by GoA, and they can always find something to ban even if it is wrong.

An rl friend of mine who plays ingame has gotten his 2nd or 3rd ban now for being lame ass cheater by xping on a bugged spot so as not to get agro ...although he is a good player and a good friend if he does it again I hope he gets a perma ban cause obviously 2bans couldnt teach the stupid fucker a half decent lesson ..ban people for 3 days for their first offence then terminate their account for their second ..kick all cheaters

100% agree, but the game is like that and we use it, i wouldn't cheat to risk a perma ban, and for the last time, the single matter is: i got perma ban for speed hack which i have never seen or used. Going to vacation => have fun and good luck

Its hard loosing something that you have put a lot of time into but I think I'm with Zenythe on this one. I don't believe that he would ban someone without evidence and he sounds convinced that you were bug abusing, and I trust him more than you. With a history of bug abusing you must only expect to be a target when it comes to suspicion of being a cheater and that will always be weighed against you, you must learn that. I don't think Zenythe would ban you for no reason.

I'm not trying to be spiteful here, I know how frustrating it can be loosing something you put so much time and money into and I really do feel for you but when it comes to bug abusing and ruining the game for others, cheaters must be eliminated.

Anyway, its not like you hibs have a reputation of abusing in thid
