Well I'm afraid I gotta reply for u widdy, My clan MAS has just recieved an email, banning Shy-FX from participating in anymore BWEFL league games :uhoh:

Which I may add was also followed by a warning that if he was to ever play and be caught, That the whole clan MAS would be banned for a year of BWEFL games .

Why the fook do u think u have the right to ban Shy-FX, for a start he wasn't the insigator of any of the arguments on this thread, what i read through on Shy's comments was more along the lines of Constructive Critiscm, and he made a valid point over U.

It seems apparent that some poor bastard gave u a little too much power early on in life, U haven't really done anything on this thread to defend yourself, just keep side tracking any issues raised followed by more bollocks and threats.

Well Sonny-Jim, U for a start are a royal wanker, theres no doubt about it, U haven't even got the bollocks to email Shy direct about it have you, you would rather send the email elsewhere andd for someone else to tell him, Well we cant really say u spout bollocks now can we, Its apparent u haven't got any !!!!!

The way I and a few others see it is on and off the field admins can slag anyone off and not be banned but everyone else has to kiss their ass?
If this is right, then its just plain wrong, and EF is in a much worse state than I originally thought. This game is already on a rapid descent with a collision course for the floor. With the fact Raven are not producing anymore patches etc whatsoever (completely neglecting the game ), and now this P2P stuff from the leading server provider. Arguments that could ruin a whole league would just destroy the community even more, so lets just all try and get along and be nice little piggies.

Shy shouldnt have been banned for posting citicism about someone who should be man enough to take it.

It is not a league matter, it is not a BWEFL forum.

I am a public admin and recieved a lot of shit over an ex clan member a little while ago,did i start to ban ip's? did i kick ppl off servers? NO becuase that would be abuse of power.

Someone slags me here,np i can take it im not a 1 yr old im a man that can take criticism, i wont go looking to ban ppl.

i doubt it. nguk didnt seem to realise one little pleb admin was systematically driving ppl away from their servers until the fat lady was singing.

the ironic thing is it that widdy just doesn't matter any more (if he ever did). bw themselves just emptied the servers far quicker than widdy ever could have done.

I find myself as a bw admin for a different game deeply disturbed at the fact that another admin feels the need to ban a player from leagues because of a mere debate.

When I signed up to admin public servers I was told that this position of "power" should not be abused and yet it looks like others do abuse it.

Shy-fx is a gentleman to play ef with - he isnt rude or accusing but usually helpful. To ban him for having an opinion which differs to yours Widdy is blatently cowardly - the disagreement is not over bwefl so why do this?

Maybe you feel it was within your rights however personally I feel it has more to do with your pride and less about following the rules.

she rekons the money they make from that

also i think they should promote BW more in the stores after all whats the point of buying say SOF 2 or quake 4
if there isnt a server to play it on.

the chaps that run barrysworld know more about this than me but i find it rather odd after E/b buying BW,

Sorry Bw....but i will not signing up to your system. I don't play ef anymore, mainly JKII and soon SoF2, there are other servers to play on. I'm not gonna install and then in the future pay for somthing thats not necessary.

I think many of you forget that the majority of Gamers are in the Teenager Area i.e, don't have jobs, or if they do, can't afford anything more then wat they have got atm. Pay per Play is a good way to kill your customer base as ever since the 1st Mp game playing online has been virtually free. I won't pay to play on servers, if that means i can't play onlne anymore....so be it.

Stuff like this ruins the freedom and flexability of the Net....i thought Bw would be one of the last to go pay to play. Shame.

But just a warning, people will crack your software, people WILL find ways through, they always do..........

I never got the opportunity to download the tech trial software so couldn't really comment on it's effectiveness/ineffectiveness.

Having read the rest of this (rather long) post, it seems unfair that someone got banned because of an opinion.

However, having read the responses of some on this topic, it's apparent to me that if people were more constructive with their criticism, less offense might be taken.

A differing point of view is never wrong, but the way it is expressed can be. Take this into account when composing your posts and i'm sure that these misunderstandings will cease to happen.
