I'd still rather see the radius on zou and demo decreased, rather than not having it interrupt. Now zou has it's radius decreased, aswell as having lost it's interrupt...

be happy you still got some interupts?

Tic RR5 doesnt work on casters :(
It works well on the mercs, which is the one you like to kill when they coming to dump bl on you. Even if the bl wont interrupt any more I would still use a light tank since the effect from demo, zou is still really good even if it's not interrupting.

it's still a huge nerf

apart from banespike, theres basically 3 banelords that are used: zou/tendrils, demo, oppression. losing interrupt on 2 of 3 and having radius decreased on all is way too much.

keep all BL interrupts as-is and reduce radius to 500 = banelord fixed.

i got lighttanks, i got casters, i got hybrids, i'll just play whichever is the most fun. ppl will adapt, the game will change, always has - always will.

they nerfed it to 0, now you have some again..
They didn't nerf it to zero, they were planning on doing so. If there's plans to reduce caster dmg by 80%, and they only reduce it by 50% in the end, before the plans ever having gone live, would that make the casters happy?

Yup, they should've just left it at the radius decrease :/

that's a nice change, and the 3rd options looks kinda fun. although mentalist with ML9 pet (or is there some kind of cap on that already:)? =)

There is a cap (lvl 70?) and also considering how spotty and unreliable menty charm is even with 70 composite light spec I'd hardly call this a big deal...

If anything is a big deal, I'd say giving spec casters perfecter is far worse.

In simple words.
No banelord interupts = group with best interupter + BGer wins.

Is there a better interupter than Banshee?
2 Banshee, 2 Druid, 1 Warden, 1 Bard + fill the rest 2 spots with what ever you want and you win 80% of the time.

I think albs have it pretty easy now BLs are gone tbh.

BD's will insta die unless they ml2. No one can keep 4 casters interupted :/

Kinda funny to see how caster dominant most setups here on EU servers are, yet virtually every single dominant group on the US servers are hybrid setups relying on tank dps and 1-2 utility casters. Not saying there's a right and a wrong here, just interesting how completely different directions the two communities have evolved since the game was released :D

Also kinda puzzled to see the rather extreme focus on bodyguarding, especially since you apparently face relatively few/low tank dps anyway. If you're based on BG to keep casters open to cast you are also relying on extremely crappy ranged interrupts from the enemy group...

Obviously US players are playing the same way EU players did pre NF. I recall caster groups became common when NF was released.

Well casters in general had a pretty big boost when NF went live on US too, but mainly among n00bs in siege scenarios. Which frankly isn't hard to understand since playing a tank in siege rvr is about as fun as watching a glacier melt while someone is trying to hammer a nail into the back of your head.

The surprising/interesting part is that it is so highly represented in the 8v8 community. Also the combination of the fact that a lot of groups run pretty caster heavy combined with the high attention on BGing boggles me quite a bit... I guess I'll find out why tho as soon as we get this pve crap out of the way ;)

Can't wait to get a hold of some primetime action without forming up at 2 am lol

heh not vs casters that know how to take care of themselfs..

I mean jesus, air pets are the fastest to do interrupt, but their stil slow compared to a banelord.
