NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- The following changes have been made to the Banelord Master Level line:

All spells and Abilities in Banelord, with the exception of Primal Agony and Agony Transmission, have been changed so they no longer interrupt other players who are casting.

Primal Agony and Agony Transmission range has been reduced to 500 units.

Snaring Tendrils of Power now correctly has a recast timer of 5 minutes.

Pretty fun huh? :p

zerk obselete now, though these days the effects of bl's are more so important than the interupt factor, with zou/demo anyway

hahaha, so nice, now no more zerkers, mercs, etc in groups, and mostly casters, Niceeeee! :p

thats what we need... more caster heaven

Even more ironic is the fact that they say the change is needed since they are adding banelord to more classes... fair enough it would been OPed I guess, but 95% of the point with banelords anyway is interupts... They aren't just nerfing bl slightly like they seem to think, they are making the line completely useless

Next nerf wwill be the removal of speedwarps and the casters and tanks are about equal again. :p

I cannot believe they are making casters more powerful with these proposed changes, they are moronic at best.

nice change, you will have to have inturupters who are on the ball rather than BLs spamming aoes

changes daoc fg scene alot. Group setups and 'tactics' will adapt. So will you tanks.. game goes on but in a different way...

Embrace it and adapt to it.. even thou its verry bad imo..

I don't see how this is a good change ... it's already dark age of castalot ... the game should/would be moving towards dark age of tankalot it's the cycle of life!!

No kidding... it's kinda ironic that they nerf a line in order to be able to give it to more classes without too much fuzz, and they nerf it so hard that it becomes utterly useless lol

Thats quite a big change there...
It will push off the balance tanks vs casters more.
But from a nonbanelord tank vs banelord tank pov its pretty nice, it brings them more close together. (vw/svg/thane ect)

Huge change, I don't think it was needed before they decided to give BL to more classes. The irony is that these classes won't want it nearly as much now.

Well vw/svg/thane etc will prolly all get BL now but who want a tank in the group when that thing is live and you can't interrupt? Yeah nobody if you dont run in a GG and prolly a GG will skip a tank aswell :D
The only reason that tanks get a spot in the group is cus the BL line interrupts. Tanks should get something new imo so they dont get "removed" from the game.

They already prefer a Tic over a Merc cus they interrupt more so guess mercs can solo now :p

Was just about to post something like this...I'd like to know whether Mythic decided to add ML lines to more classes, then realised they couldn't do it without unbalancing the game, then decided to nerf BL so they could give it to tanks (probably ALL the tanks now).

OR they might have been planning to nerf some ML lines and then decided it would be a good time to add a 3rd ML line to all classes, since no one line would be completely overpowering (as Banelord is now).
