Anyone watched the HD version of Band of Brothers that's on the Virgin Media TV 'Choice'?

I loved it the first time, but watching it again in HD is just :eek2:

Is it really a lot better? Im quite bored of it I must admit, Stephen Ambrose gets on my nerves, but Ive not seen any HD really, for all Ive got a HD telly

I dont like the anti-British element in it. I find that in a lot of Ambrose's books, with of course the exception of Pegasus Bridge.

Now thats a book they should make a telly series of.

Scooby I was in Carentan last year, they have ol Captain Winters uniform at Dead Mans Corner Museum ,quite interesting

i was going to do the battlefield tour this year but had to cancel,hope to go next year.would love to go to carentan as well m8,think im going to get to go bastogne as well.i have to say though that they could have highlighted a little more the losses of the british at market garden in bob.

Yep, there is news that it should be out for Christmas time.

Also, I went to Arnhem and there's enough to do there for a good days' visit if you are into that kind of thing. The museum, bridge and various other things made me really glad I went.

You can often get special deals for the 4-star hotel there on the t'interweb.

just get the dvd m8 and buy an upscaling dvd player ,make sure your tv plays 1080.wont be as good as blue ray but will look bloody good i think.
