avalon is a good server because it leaves little room for the hypocritical fucktards there are on cluster.

one fg zone which changes according to rvr situation where nobody jumps other groups who are resting, nobody adds, and in general there's lots of groups from all realms out who come for fgfights.

next to that you have the regular frontier zones where everything goes, add/zerg/siege/whatever. most people from cluster would love having the chance to play like that without instantly getting whined at. that, and the battlegroups are usually fairly organised so there is action for everyone.

only thing that lacks is a solo zone because GOA forbid it, but because we play there as fg im not in the slightest bothered by it. crystal clear rules and loads of action >> cluster in every form and shape.

i agree with raven's first post tho, i was sceptical about starting a new project and refused to participate in the camlann thing for the same reason. but we finished the pve from lvl 0 to lvl 50, cl5, ml10, including 3 buffbots in two weeks (not /played). then 2 weeks of rvr and one of us dinged rr7, rest following soon. lots and lots of fun so far, very happy i joined

PL me ^^ I'm growing tired of PL'ing myself atm :/ I had chars there long ago on mid but a few months ago I got bored and started a cleric - yeye I know, there's not much variation in my chars. PL'ing her with a necrobot atm but it's zzZzzzz after you've done it lots of times already. My bro is cabby and my irl m8 rolled sorc (after all you gotta think about what's up when no grp is there =)) ).

But c'mon peeps, speaking German is piss easy =)

I must say that lately I haven't played cluster cause of my absolute lack of time. I tried out the German classic server and it's quite cool there. Got a nice guild, building up my temp atm and with no ToA it doesn't take so much time to get to a point there =)

If you gonna change server why not go in the US ones anyway? Farming is far better and you have a guarrantee that it will stay alive till the end of the game (since mythic runs em)

Then again if you live on wellfare and can't afford to buy anything but the absolutelly necessary, I can understand it

Becasue playing on the US servers with the time difference is the same as playing on one of GOAs servers?

tryed once, had to remake char all the time to see the icons on it's spell, to know what class it was.

german really isn't that bad, its some fiddling with finding the right scrolls but can just ask anyone for help. biggest problem is that you don't know the combat messages in rvr sometimes, bodyguard messages in particular. in a mid group there are too many icons to see bodyguard going on and off so you have to rely on the log for it (+vent obviously)

never had that happen to any of us and we speak english in battlegroups a lot. most people who joined the mlraids we organised spoke english in bg, and some of them translated for eachother.

never had that happen either, played some with Wolfbash yesterday and they joked some about our 'kiting' but I could joke back about their moccing. was all in good fun really a lot of us have gotten compliments for running a mid group without bd and the new Amaya group is looking forward to some fights when they start running again next week. that, and there's some spectators who follow us around on their horse just to watch fights and so on. ive not once gotten the feeling they don't want us, quite the opposite really.

and oh oh forgetting the most important part, zergs a grp bcos they "cheat" -call it strafe, window drag, bug abuse, radar, GOA hq monitoring etc etc etc- ?

it's against their rules to strafe, window drag or run-through qc/moc, ofcourse you're going to get whined at for doing it. that said, duact keeps on strafing regardless and still nobody has added on us for it. in those two weeks the only time we ever got added on by a "fg guild" was after we had farmed 5-6 fgs in a row in a normal frontier zone next to a tower under siege.

that, and we never had any group sit down on us for any reason that has to do with our playstyle.

septina claimed the same things as you, but either you have completely overexaggerated them, or things changed completely.
