armsman idea

currently have
39 slash
42 shield
44 pole
24 parry

happy with it except for middie chain resist against slash

was thinking:

34 slash (according to ign board damage variance is minimal and slash has best 1 handed styles)
34 trust (there you go--> middie chain)
39 pole (never managed to pull off rage anyway and 50 is easy to get at rr4 + SC)
42 shield (yep need slam imho)
14 parry (bit low :-/)

i don't see any trouble switching weapons

any thoughts about this?

no way. Not worth going 50 in slash since the 50 style is crap (well not crap but amethyst is still better) and there is almost no damageraise from having 60 or 50 slash. So...

going something like 3x slash (get to 50 with items and RR's) and 50 shield, 4x parry would be way better for a defensive armsman (there is no cap on shield and parry so with RR's and items you can get very high block/parry-rate with like 65 in shield and parry).
