I have seen all of your ideas and opinions. Just a few things I wanted to point out before I get to the heart of the discussion. Some quotes I saw....

now most europeans actually dont hate the usa because of jealousy. Some hate them, because the americans are such show offs and have to rub it in your face that they are stronger.

they arent angry , because the americans have it better (do they actually though (better doesnt always mean being richer or more powerful)). But they are angry, because the americans are irritating and annoying. So the USA could have be less richer and people would still hate them. As they would still brag about it somehow .

and about the largest debt it does mean your economy is highly unstable. Allthough most americans do not realize this, so they act if everything is fine and it is till something goes wrong and then the heaven will fall down.

the best economy is the economy that is the strongest but also healthiest. The Usa economy isnt that healthy, it is strong though.

First of all, lmao at the thread. Especially at Thisisgonnahurt's post. I was laughing and bit shocked by the fact that people believe this pile of crap.

I'm not anti-american, I'm anti-Bush administration. There is a big difference between those two. What happens is that the Bush-administration was chosen by the people and represent the people in foreign countries. This leads to people simplying things, such as 'americans suck' or whatever.

Think you missed a step there.

Another thing that made me go lmao was the part of jealousy. Never ever heard so much bullshit in my life. If anything, I pity Americans. They are being misled by their government, instead of pumping cash into their own failing society (American poverty was at a 12% in 2000 and it still keeps climbing) and investing into their schooling system (which compared to European education systems, the American system is inferior). You dare to say that America is the fittest country of the world? You're just being ignorant. America spends so much money on military capabilities that it totally neglects it's own country. America cannot be called prosperous. It cannot be called Land of the Free as well, because everything is being led from above. Afaik, the network channels in America are being extremely censored by the Bush-government. Get a clue.

One thing that you should be very aware of. The public opinion (which was already anti-war to some extent - Blair just forced it through) in the UK is evolving, slowly, but surely. We'll see in a couple of months after all these Iraq cases have passed, what the decision of the UK people will be. If it is what I'm thinking, America might just lose their biggest ally and biggest support. Think about that for a while.

Then you must also realise that, like every great nation before her, America will wilt and fall, whether it is through economical or more aggressive causes. As far as I can see, the sooner this happens, the sooner the world becomes a better place.
