My point is that the tittle "vegetarian" is way too strong in most people's eyes - if someone is willing to cook food without meat for someone who can't stand meat (for whatever reason) then surely he is willing to cook food with meat for someone who can't stand food without it (for whatever reason)? By removing that fancy tittle "vegetarian" its kinda hard to argue about this, right?Well, in your first post you said that it shouldn't be hard for a vegetarian to cook a dish with meat. I replied that they shouldn't cook someone's favourite meal, but just one they can eat (and usually non-vegetarians can eat a dish without meat). I apparently stressed too much on the belief in that post though, because you replied that most vegetarians just don't eat meat because they don't like it. I replied that in that case as well, it seems normal (and not some form of better treatment as you said in your post) to me to cook a vegetarian dish for them.
I might just have misunderstood you though.
If I invite people over for dinner I make sure to make food that everyone can eat. However, in 90% of cases my friends invite themselves with short notice and if someone happens to have new vegetarian/vegan girlfriend/boyfriend the bitching starts. I always have meat (meaning I have mixed meat with everything else so can't separate it) so no idea would the bitching happen the other way around, gotta try it out sometime
