Ch3t its quite easy to tell they were friends of myg0t, from the dialogue they were exchanging with other myg0t members at the time, and the fact that the majority of them tended to spam cheat urls like no tomorow

I have been trying to point out a serious error in the cs liaisons judgement regarding my ban, thats all I've been trying to do at the end of the day... I have had mistakes pointed out about myself here also which have been noted

But at the end of it all, I dont cheat, I havent cheated, I didnt LAN spot and there is no evidence to proove I did. I still got banned, I got removed for trying to proove my innocence...

Removed from adminning by an admin using a3d 2.0 may I note (A very much regarded cheat in most circles of CS, people who know what their talking about basically), that same admin/liaison fails to realise the cheat aspect of what he is using, and constantly denies the advantage it gives him. If youve ever played against a clan using a3d 2.0 you would know exactly how much of an advantage it gives them. They can call your rushes before you get remotely near them, they know exactly which side your going to rush with the most people from their own spawn almost, they can manouvre the team to cover that rush before its even started, that means you can almost definitely win rounds just solely on the advantage a3d 2.0 gives... Most people that use a3d 2.0 can at least admit the advantage it gives them, they are still gits for using it, but those who use it and deny the advantage are a bit silly and it tends to show their judgement is again not the best

s_a3d 1 cvar should be locked on all servers, I'm glad rogue1 has taken the first step and removed the cvar from the bwcsl completely, he like many others knows exactly how much of a cheat a3d 2.0 can be.... Its a shame other people cant see that :/


As for this whole thing it would be nice if it was dropped and BWCS could be left to whatever fate zappeh has in store for it, I hope it stays popular and is adminned correctly, but I now doubt both of those statements, which I find is a shame, because BW has been my gaming home for ages, I dont want to move somewhere else because BW tends to be the best, but if after p2p it is unpopular and the adminning is still bad what choice will anyone have?

Not only are you a whore, but you're a cheap one.

As for the wearing [myg0t] tags and getting banned on sight regardless of evidence : lame. However being a good admin you would have demos to back up your ban.

Also the requirement for evidence to back up a bannage or kickage or whateverage will tend to prevent immature admins from abusing or threatening to abuse their powers. Seen that one happen too.

Even tho tundra has been changed to office server 12 seems to be empty most of the time...any chance of another change?

Server 12 was only ever full later on in the evening anyway. But I agree.

The funny thing is (I know this has been said before) it was the most popular with the chateau/assault/siege rotation, but it was also the most moaned about I think. So you can't really gauge a servers popularity in these forums as no matter what happens we'll all moan like fuck

It is impossible to gauge the popularity of a map by these forums.

In the time that the stats were running over 7,000 people played enough on BW to be featured. That is a huge amont of passing traffic. The (relatively) few regulars here, who express a preference, are in the extreme minority.

Assault, for instance, is generally disliked by most of the regulars here, for being a 'noob map', but in the real world it tends not to empty servers like maps that are loved by some of the regulars here.

Of course, come Tuesday, a huge proportion of those 7,000 people will stop coming to BW, and we will be left, for a time, with empty servers, with those of us who have subscribed huddled together in one or two of them; having a bloody good time, no matter what the map is

You full well know that A3d is on the demo box I use at home to checkout cheats, The PC IS NOT ONLINE, it has no modem or nic in it, so how on earth that gives me an advantage on a server amazes me. Saying that, I would have no problems with using it online though.

I use a3d to check demos so that I can hear what other people with a3d can hear to judge wether or not they are cheating.
I cannot ban somone that is using a3d just because they can hear a little more than ppl without it.
In my opinion it is a feature and is not a cheat in any way shape or form.
You cannont hear people rushing in directions from spawn ffs, all you can make out is your own team thumping around (think about it).
I agree that is gives you an advantage, but then so does having a very low ping, does that mean all ppl with <30 ping should be banned?
NO of course not, A3D is a feature and is supported by HL/VALVE and as such cannot be considered a cheat.

There you go skyler, why not tell everyone about my OGC too?
that is at least a known cheat.

A3D 2.0 has an echo bug in HL which results in 2x distance sound...

You are capable of hearing near the opposing teams spawn from your own spawn

I've said several times, if you are clever and know how to use it properly, you can gain an advantage from it that not even OGC can replicate

Surely that is worth disabling...

You may be able to hear them from that distance, but unless all your team are silent from the start you have no way at all of distinguishing the sounds from the nme spawn let alone be able to tell where they are going.
Its not a cheat or a bug, its a feature that is supported and as such it will never be disabled just becuase some people dont like it.
Its not a matter of concern to the public, infact the only person thats ever bought it up is you skyler.
Removing a feature because one person has issues with it is not a good idea as you would probably understand.
If I was inundated with complaints about it then sure it would be removed.
