Think they did some testing on calories burned on phones and watches and none of the are very accurate.

Not worn a watch in 16 years dont see any point starting now

I like mine but I'm hoping for a v2. Would be better if it was a little thinner, a little more responsive and the battery lasted a bit longer. Might splash out on the fancy version then.

I only said the first part, e.g. mouth breathing fanboi, referring to buyers of the ~1K watch Wij linked to. Who is and isn't an imbecile isn't up to me to decide :)

I quite like smart watches if you need to check notifications a lot and you don't wanna be taking the phone in/out of your pocket during meetings/etc all the time.
I don't really think their battery life is very good at the moment though.

I might buy one when the next gen come out, but obviously not an apple watch ;)
