Heh heh...my God! I seem to either bad luck, rotten luck or bad ass mother fuggin, straight from the depths of hell luck. Game keeps coming up with CRC errors and/or rebooting during installation.

A friend of ours got the game yesterday and he had problems installing it too. See we just updated the client from beta so we didn't actually end up installing from CD so I've no idea. All I know is that our friend yesterday kept getting bad CD errors and stuff, but he did eventually get it to install.. only thing I can suggest is to keep trying

We've logged for a little while, so I don't know if there's anyone on who can invite. Suggest if you manage to get it installed, maybe message me or Venom on here, and we will try and get someone in-game to invite asap.

These errors seem to be a regular occurence for me. Took me almost 2 hours just to install SI.

I have made a log of all these errors and the time it took to install simple games so that if I do flip out and start killing people I will be able to present the log in a court of law as evidence of my insanity.

Whhee...copied it to HD/D and it installed...without asking for any other CDs or their location. Hmm...smells fishy.

Either way, I am downloading the patch which will be here in 7hrs! Hurrah for ADSL!!

Sometimes it says it'll take longer than it ends up actually taking.

Au contraire. If you have a thingybobber then you can download them direct and stick 'em in their corresponding folders.

That is what I am doing at the moment and it is taking considerably less time than relying on the lame ass patching software that Sony/Whoever are using atm.
