aye.. my skill increased by atleast 100% when I switched from hib/exc to hib/pryd tbh.

wasn't exactly bitching was just wondering how the creators can get balance so completely wrong, considering I have to attempt to melee a scout to do dmg and if i do then i just get stunned which sets up an easy zephyr, I have to be lucky that I evade the slam and strafe the zephyr which unless the scout is a gimp they aren't going to miss before they die. And as most scouts can see me even with mos 4 and 50 stealth, kinda gives them a sicko advantage.

This isnt a whine just an observation, I'm not going to give up because of it, I'll keep getting battered just hope I'm some kind of annoyance out there as little as it maybe.

This of course has now gone out of the window though with the game being centered around keep warfare...

interesting perspective - although i bet Mythic didnt count on the rivers of QQ'ing generated from such a minority of classes xD

My point was that 3 months really isn't a long time to wait till something gets nerfed. Waiting 2 years is worse, so you're not that bad off. Your issue was the amount of time you had to wait, not the abilities. Me putting forward examples such as LA or GP were merely and example of abilities people had to wait much longer for to be nerfed. And yes, SoS and BoF I guess could be one of those examples as well. Then again, I'm looking at stuff from alb pov, so I only see what's being used against me.

And what if you did? I couldn't care less really. I've been playing my sorc for years now so I wouldn't be hurt if you would call me overpowered or fotm: It's not my fault it's fotm is it? .And I fully agree, sorcerer is a powerful class, you find yourself lucky that there's only a handful who actually know how to make full use of it.

Anyone have any idea why they allowed hib casters to all have 9s stun in baseline, or why they allowed skalds to go Sojourner so these classes can royally fuck anyone and anything over?

i dropped slam for 50bow 35thrust 35stealth 29shield (all +15), dont miss it much really, u can always run thru and paralyze or beartooth. used to spend most of an endurance bar trying to land slam just to see it insta-purged.

however, trying to play scout w/o buffbot is only marginally more fun than stabbing needles in ur eyes :(

as i said and ill say for the 3rd time, i'm not whining i find it amusing and astounding that they implement characters like that, hopefully sooner or later they might give NS 3 iwin buttons to mess with.

u lot a royally weird, nothings changed for archers from old emain except the landscape. whingers. i hit for the same dmg as a chanter, but a lot slower. and my arrows dont 9s stun ffs.

A tank can just engage the scout, and no arrows will hit.
The caster can just quick cast from range and interrupt and fuck over the scout from then onwards...
If we compare scouts to rangers and hunters, we see that scouts are much more defensive oriented, while rangers and hunters are much more offensive (with rangers probably being the best fecking mobile long range tanks ever created by Mythic). Rangers are close to savages with stealth to be honest, and they have range :(

Scout range is 2300 on the flat, caster range is 1500 (mostly). Somehow that doesn't quite work. :p

what annoys most of us most, is that a scout got all these tools, but are any of them soloing?

fuck no, they are 1) on a tower 2) on a keep or 3) together with 3 friends.

but why even bother putting up a petition for this, it ISN'T gonne happen, for the simple reason that Mythic made all those patches after 1.65 to (in THEIR view) balance the game, remove unbalanced abilities, remove bugs and things that weren't intended to work in a certain way. Why on earth would they roll back to what they see as a crappier game?
-OK, I'm talking about Mythic here, may just as well be GOA dunno who makes the decissions on it-

just saying...but it will never ever happen
