Anyone got to chapter 4 yet?

I got to chapter 4 lastnight and I'm a bit miffed.

I'm a lvl 17 paladin and I've been using Tomi Undergallows as my henchman all the way through and he's been keeping pace with me level-wise all the time - always 1 level below me.

Now all of a sudden I get to chapter 4 and he's dropped down to level 12. As have all the other henchmen available for me to hire! Like wtf? He's useless now, he gets twatted by every single mob out there, he can't pick half the locks or disarm half the traps and has become a complete liability :/

Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

install the new patch on your (obviously ;)) legit copy and ask him to level up - he should be fiX0red :D

On the same line, is the maximum level for a henchman 14? Mine didn't seem to change at all as I gained levels up to 20.
Or is this a bug in the game?

I got NWN Monday and only been able to play around Chapter One, I chose Undergallows as my henceman and what makes it confusing is my main character is also a Halfling Rogue !

I keep selecting the wrong character and he's always getting to disarm traps before I can, disobeying his "stand your ground" orders - bah.

Benefit is, of having two rogues, when fighting together against a single foe one of you is always getting a sneak attack in :)

It'd be the same if you got a fighter instead of a rogue too though, and he'd have more hp :)

I'd go for a tank henceman if I was a rogue :) I personally prefer the bard over Tomi (Well, she IS cuter :p); decent lockpicking, decent melee and nice spells :) Of course this means that I have to disarm traps myself, but as a ranger get a ton of skill points, this isn't really a problem :)
