No, you've more likely got a faulty handset or ears.
Try a cotton bud first.
No you can't, the problem most people report is with the speaker phone. If your call volume is too low when not on speaker then send your phone back for repair ( You are on Orange so they'll simply swap it for you if you complain of a fault).
You can use sms backup and restore to save your texts, and google sync to save your contacts. You keep your memory card anyway.
Seeing as you didn't realise, the ear thing was a joke. Your phone is faulty if you've got a problem with the call volume, I have mine at 3/4 and it's more than loud enough.
Just to be sure we are on the same wave length, I don't mean the ring volume (which is stupidly loud), but the call volume when speaking to someone. In a house/room its fine, but outside it's too quiet.
I heard the ads get in the way of the gameplay on Angry Birds. That right?
Well, duh, airplane mode shuts off all 'radio' things, so that's all of: mobile signal, wifi and bluetooth.Someone told me if you put the phone into Airplane mode it also stops the adverts but I can't be bothered to test it out...
Yes but would the game still run...
dys, it took you longer to type the posts out than it would have done to actually test the theory.......
Dys, did you not bother to read my post directly below Lamps?
Q: Will there be a paid version of Angry Birds without the ads?
A: Yes there will. We recently introduced our own payment system for operator billing, the Bad Piggy Bank. An opt-out payment option will be introduced worldwide in cooperation with local operators in 2011.
