i have figured it out and thats why we have been dabating this the last x amount of pages, it takes a balanced alb group with full RA use to compete with a standard middy group, when the RA's should be an advantage not a necessity to compete

no, it takes a perfect alb group to beat a perfect mid group, ofc. simple as that.

things have changed since i left albion fyi, there has been patches after that where alb got their "love" and my experience is greater now than it was

i totally disagree but we will have to agree to isagree and leave it at that
@soruzi u left cause compared to mid classes at the time alb ones were in poor shape, alb has some good player who make the best of the tools available, like i said, if these same players played middy you would see them be alot harder simple.

if ur so smart, why not teach em how to do a proper rvr ?
NO...u jumped ship...
we albs have lost some good players for midgard. if these bandwagoner / FoTM players now think mid is lost after1.62 and leave for any other realm they rly stupid, and u Mids deserve that
all this is quite amusin...or NOT ???

anyone remember me whineing about alb tanks when i played alb too? maybe a little?
i made a post in alb forum with some tips for tanks too and so on, no effect
basicly i had 2 options, roll inf or go to hibb/mid (hibb was considered the best, by that time when LA was around etc - so i went midd)
i also deleted my first char ever to go midd and play there, but i cba lvling in midd by then, so i made sorc (since albion needed those)

Anyways... A whole lot of whine in this thread. But here's my opinion:
An Alb RvR melee group with good players and RAs up will compete on a fairly level field with a roughly equal Mid group.
However, if RAs are not up, the Mid group is much more forgiving.

this smite argument really is hilarious After getting 1mil rp's as a smite cleric (44s/27rej/17enh) and now switched to rej/enh (41rej/35enh/3smite) I can safely say that rej/enh is the ONLY option for a cleric. If you want to be a mediocre healer and a dmg dealer then roll a friar...
And the 9second pbaoe mezz you get from smite3 is more then enough to outrun a mid tank if you use it well.
Tank is on you...wait for The snare to wear off if it's on you, twist your camera to face behind you, whilst running away. Randomly back into them so tyhey are in the center of your pbaoe, hit pbaoe mezz/sprint and peg it.....it will put them about 200 range behind you so you can just keep on running until they give up
It's nowhere near as good as the other realms healer classes with CC though...

ooh, and as for ae'ing the support, just leave it to your sorc/therg and mincer to keep them interupted. And if you haven't got them in your grp then you are doomed really anyways :x

A good alb melee group is probably the best group you can make in the game or one of them,yeah on mid prydwen they all sit down in emain and let us kill them
Erm no, some mid pryd people play good it's just the fact when you play with the same people,you know everyone's playstyle,who to hit and when is the key to winning not whining that you can't beat a melee group from mid,you sure as hell can i did it a few times yesterday.(died 2 times yesterday in 9 hours or so in emain...)
Some people REALLY underate an alb melee group or they can not play them,as for mid's highest rr being a thane rr9 yes because some high rr mids quitted a few months ago.
But then again mids having str relics on excal sure as hell makes it harder beating a mid melee group but can be done,make sure 3 of your tanks have determination 3+.

I can't tell you how happy I am that Mids are gonna jump ship. 1.62 is gonna do this for midgard, the groups who can protect their shammy will still be able to kill almost anything, the ones that can't (all the no-skill-4-savage-random-groups) will die a humiliating death and then move to alb and roll a minstrel. Which means you might actually be able to do FG rvr during the days in midgard without having to tell the 120 ever-adding mids in emain to FUCK OFF. Bring on 1.62!

Then please explain why the top Alb groups on Prydwen run back to apk after a hard fight where both BoF's were used...only to reappear 30 mins later?
Just yesterday I was in group of 5 that caught a fairly high RR Alb group on their way back for their pk 'rest'. 2 savages, warrior, shaman and supp bd. RR's were all 4/5. We wiped the Alb group (RR5-8) with only 1 death and it was easy. No healer in group vs 2 clerics. We had Ichor for CC and crappy shammy heals.
No BoF/SoS=dead Albs against Mid!
BoF is overpowered imo but it is essential the way things are at the moment.

without knowing i think this will be the core after 1.62..
thing is dont the 2xhealer+1shaman+ rest mid group dont have more CC to protect the shaman ?
it seems to me that after 1.62 SOS will be the determing factor even more than now ....
if uber tank assist booring alb group sos and kill shaman they will afterwards kill uber tank assist booring mid group ...
if sos not up uber tank assist booring mid group will out CC the uber tank assist booring alb group ??
(ps and dont skip darkeyes post becuase this 1 is better to answer on)

I would like an altar boy as Cleric pet. (I gave up reading on page 5 tbh)
I would like to protest against this tho:
Post A: FFS lame n00Bz0rz skill-less buffbot users !1!one!!
Post B: You should all have a buffbot so your active clerics wouldn't have to spec enhance and they can put points in a often resisted low damage line which is leet versus undead!!
