Americans voted for an administration, not Bush, it's quite obvious to all that he has no input, no ideas and practically no say himself in the day to day running of the country.
Americans must like it that way, and TBH it's not a bad thing.

True,

but look at the damage they have done

doubt america can really last another whole term of been screwed by government beliveing erveryone is out to get them, they will break somewhere and f**k with the wrong country.

And well if you was in the Military you would see the the problems this "Administration" has caused for the UK alone.

Everyone seems to think it wont effect us in the UK..........

It won't affect us in the UK if our population has the brains to vote this shitty Labour government out. We need a govt. that will do what's best for Britain, not for America. It's about time we started warming up to this Europe thing rather than getting closer to the yanks imo.

I'm more worried about seeing a mushroom cloud outside my window when I wake up one morning than some stupid "ethnic bomb" tbh. :)

oooh deary me this is a thread-bomb waiting to be locked down, lets just see how long till the first flames shall we..... i'll give you some ammo, im glad he won, i like the dude.

now lets just see how long it takes for someone to take that small, unobtrusive, innofensive statement and get personal, questioning my parentage (i.e were they brother and sister) and my IQ, i give it about a day, get the padlock ready mods,
theres a lot of folk who call themselves democrats that cant stand to see someone with an opposing point of view out there.

Can think of three things I like about Bush for a start, first he's straight talking, none of this waffling crap that seems to typify politians these days, where they never actually say anything much that can't be denied later as having been misunderstood ("I did not have sexual relations" comes to mind). You might not like what he's saying, but then again Winston Churchill was vilified prior to the Second World War, he didn't have the highest IQ in history and his public speaking was shockingly bad for many years.

Second when he talked about his past, such as the drinking, the arrest for drunk driving etc he was open about it, said yep did that not proud of it, but I did it. Not like Clinton's "I smoked, but I didn't inhale" for which no one should have voted for him, cos either he did inhale, but didn't have the guts to admit it or he did as he claimed and didn't have the guts to refuse the joint and just pretended to do it. Either way completely lame.

Third the Guardian type journalists hate him, which would get my vote on its own, if they hate him hes gotta be doing something right.

I'm not anti-Bush, he's clueless, confused, spoilt and has no business whatsoever running the world apart from the fact that his dad did.
Apart from that he a quite ,normal guy, no bullshit or spin, hasn't got much to say of any worth and is afraid to let you see that.

He has to go down as the most 'how the fuck did I end up here?' President they have ever had.

He has his simple Texan convictions about morality, he uses the language of 2 old Cowboys talking over a fence, the problem is how that mentality mixes with the power, intelligence and aspirations of those around him.

Remember huge amounts of America thinks that they should just build a giant wall of power around the States and fuck the rest of the world off.

well Bush did say there were WMD's in Iraq and atleast implied that if they went into Iraq that he would found them. However he isnt careful in how he words things like you are either with us or against us. Allthough he seems to have withdrawn from that statement now.

Thing is he might talk straight, but that doesnt make him or his administration the right one to be/have the presidency. However that was up to the americans to decide and they did.

Bush won, because he convinced americans they are in war. Simple as that. Look at US news one day, evul terrorists hijacking poor civilians in Iraq, Osama jumps on TV just before the elections, etc, they are reminding people that terrorism is here all the time. It's funny though that people who live in NY or Cali (where terrorists would most likely strike) are smart enough to see Bush's impact on economy, health care, social politics, while rednecks inside the country most likely vote Bush cause they feel safer under his presidency. I doubt next hijacked plane will crush into a barn somewhere in rocky mountains...

In all fairness George is plain stupid and his foreign policy in dealing with middle eastern countries is akin to 'if i poke it here, it'll get really mad' and the election 4 years ago was a joke.

However, I know absolutely nothing about John Carey or anything about either of there election pledges which I imagine is true for most ppl, so to come and bash Americans for voting him in is kinda silly. He may have been the better candidate despit his vices. I don't know.

Oh well 1 thing is good about GB being pressy again, atleast the euro will increase in value as opposed to the dollar so we can buy things cheap in america :p.
Sad for America is GB fucks there economy up, shame really Clinton actualy made a profit and GB just spends it all including social security reserves.
I give America 8 years then they hand the most powerfull nation in the world stick to either china or india. With Kerry they might have had 10 years.

BTW no dutch person or belgian person likes GB, he threatened to invade our countries the bastard (concerning the nato warcrimes court and something else in belgium) If any Americans come to my door I ask them what they voted if they say bush they better run fast :D
