Alternate Acronyms or AA's :-)

New to MMORPG's ?Well here are a couple of the less well known acronyms you will see.
UBER - Ultimately Braindead Expecting Rewards
UBER - Unsurpassingly Brilliant Exceptional Rolemodel
Take your pick
TWINK - Totally Without Intelligence, Not Knowing
TWINK - Tries Working Industriously, Nice Kid

GIMP - Genuinely Impaired Merchant Player (a bit of difficulty with the M )
NERF - Not Entirely Really Fucked

Could any kind soul post the RvR acronyms with a decent explanation? You know, stuff like amg, mmg, dc, uc etc.?

Well just the ones you mentioned

mg = Mile gate
the letter in front of it is the realm. Ie. mmg= Middie mile gate

Mile gates are the things a certain distance away from the Portal keep (PK)

DC = Dun Crauchon.

Can't really think of many to be honest ...

Most of the keeps we abbreviate.... beno = benowyc, etc.

For those unpronouncable(and i just probably misspelled that ) Mid keeps.....well, im sure we do some weird misspelling there too (i remember that trying to raid Hlidskialf Faste we gave up trying to spell it and just used Helter Skelter Faste instead...at least it was easy to remember )

But basic RvR stuff -
BK = border keep
PK = portal keep
MG = mile gate; preceding letter denotes which mile gate(a = albion, m = midgard, h = hibernian)
DC = the only hibernian keep anyone cares about because of its prime real estate in emain. Hibernian Merchant Keep, and really annoying design. Stupid mythic.

As for relic keeps, they're usually abbrevated the same....excal = Castle Excaliber...

"dont hit the mezzed one" means you shouldnt hit on the mob that just got those yellowish little stars above his head .

this one seems to give the most troubles to people just starting out

"Heal please" is short for "Please Mr. Cleric, smite away"

Most important unofficial acronym I think should be OOB!

Out Of Beer

Involves a short AFK so no pulls while traumatised peep visits fridge.
