Anyone else looking forward to it? been following it for quite some time but it kept getting knocked back seems its finally getting closer tho.

Trailer below for people who havent seen it yet, looks rather fucking awesome if I do say so myself, lets hope they dont fuck it up.

Yeah been following it since it was announced i'm happy they pushed it back it shows they are passionate about making a good game, they could have released it and it would have sold well just on the IP.

I really enjoyed the last AvP so this is gonna be awesome.

I played Borderlands exactly once, over at Will's place. I'm sorry, I'm a complete PC head when it comes to FPS games.

I am aswell, but borderlands wasnt that bad - infact it was better than 99% of full PC releases.

I liked the cell shady and lunacy of it, but I'm getting all meh with sandboxy FPS or TPS stuffs. I'm totally happy with a linear story and guided maps and stuff if it's pretty and shock/horror the story is good enough

Don't get me wrong I may actually buy this game as I'm a huge fan, but af first glance with the super flat floors, and the super neat mess laid out everywhere, and the fact he doesn't seem to look around/up like friggin ever unless it's cinematically required makes me a bit iffy.

Most of the previews are moaning because it turns into a shoot fest, but isn't that why Aliens was so fucking good? Sure Alien was a great film with the suspense/horror but i never felt Aliens was a horror movie.

I'll get it regardless is reviews because it seems apart from the AVP series on the PC back 10 years ago anything else just gets trashed for the sake of it, the recent AvP wasn't as bad as many people lead you to believe it was only the silly trophy kills that was the bad part, the rest of it was great.

I'm not sure how you could do a game based on the Aliens movie and not have a lot of Aliens, if they didn't have a lot of Aliens the previews would bash it for that too, i just feel any developer who touches this franchise is doomed to fail no matter what they do.

completely agree, Aliens was always more of an action/horror shoot fest. I quite liked the recent AvP game as well, I think with some of these franchises your just fucked from the start with some of the fans, they just want the moon on a stick and are never going to get what they want so will trash everything.

Looks good graphically and animation wise...If I had jumped into a time machine to 5 years ago. Hopefully the game play makes up for it.

I'll give my verdict on the multiplayer and I feel it is just horrible, the 3rd person view on the Aliens just feels wrong, graphics aren't great worse than AvP 2010 which wasn't bad by any means.

It seems Timegate Studios has done most of the development work which hasn't gone well.

Not played the campaign yet, so far i will be completing this asap and trading it in.

Such a shame.
