Combat Awareness Active The Hero gains a 360 degree 50% evade for 30 seconds, during which time the Hero's attack power is reduced by 50%. During this time, the Hero will also be snared by 50%.

Basically combine that with tactics and decent shield and highish parry and its pretty nifty if melee go for bg. Moreorless unkillable to melee. May be useful in tank group fights when bging, but vs casters its utter tripe ofc. I think it has to be used wisely though, have to cancel it if melee changes target and moves away.

Problem is there's barely any tank groups ;/ /cry
That looks alright, but I thought they originally got something similar to bm's, with some extra blocking/evade chance or whatever without the snare/damage reduction :/

Does paladin stay alive the longest tho ? ... with this new patch banelords on a interuppt reaver will be well shit so i think alot might go to get BG... so with there AOE Lifedrain they get health .. there life tap ( castable )... there little spell they got where it gives them a % of each time they hit it will give them health(?) oh and now lets not forget there slam and levi ... pretty much i think the reaver will last longer then a paladin/armsman with all there lifedrains .. mayb purge 3 so they not always stunned so they can get there lifedrains in our det 3 (?) not sure if reavers get DET or not .. but i wud say reaver = also more fun to play a reaver then a paladin i wud say but thats my choice :D ( P.S not read the thread so not sure if nyone else alrdy said this ) oh and they have that aoe spell aura more interuppts :D and i kno that this is for bodyguard etc but if the grp goes against a caster grp can easy go offensive while doin dmg nd gettin his life .. against tank grp can go defensive

Regards - Nale :D

was surprised how well Leviathan did on glasto with no friar but then that was classic server, -toa caster bs. friar turns unhealable dmg into healable dmg and as a caster u get a chance to qc before u die, which can make all the difference.

Friar For the BG, Resists and extra Heals while not doing bg(when hes rejuspec). I dont know if any of you have noticed, but its VERY RARE that the tank assist train tries to take out BG. I quess they dont want to take the risk that they would be pinned for long time trying to kill BG:r. Im talking about fg vs fg here. As a friar and BG im usually last to die in fights, who the heck would wanna kill a gimpy friar anyways? All this means that u dont have to be UBER durable to do the BG role, few toys to help and maybe ip to throw in and ur cool enough.

After the patch paladin should have a good role in offence with 2h sword, with mercenaries/armsies/reavers/heretics, So the king of BG would be FRIAR imho :) Suits his role perfectly, if u wanna run with bg that is.

Speaking of all realms, I'd say warriors are best, even when only taking testudo and their good dmg/defence mix in consideration, and I think a blademaster might do well, seeing they've got a fancy rr5 ability aswell, not to mention the high dex and evade in case you'd want to go shield :p
Hibs best bg'er is warden without doubt, no point using a bm for that.

I was only thinking aloud, more or less :p I've never ran with a bg'ing bm, or any bg'ers on hib, for that matter, so it's hard for me to tell :p
