yeah, sure, i have a vamp on glast.. but thats a farm bot for my alts and to PL them, had some leirvik fun with it, but thats it

wtf is overpowered about a bainshee....

like in the list of OP casters it would be like in the middle.

Its got the best pure nuke in the game, but the difference compared to other spec nukes is negligable.

It really lacks utility, has a nice ablative aura and nice ranged interupt and a UI Pb root.

The cone stuff is just annoying in Irvr but isnt of exactly overpowered (just badly designed)

Solo the class is cannon fodder, no pet to abuse the convoker line with. No class speed....

compare to sorcs, wl, BDs, elds, chanters, sm's, cabbys, theurgs. I would say these mages offer groups more and are much more effective solo.

that might be true, i dont cba to even think about how the hibs try to make their grp even more op, but when a rr3 bainshee nukes for 849, thats really sick -.- a bainshee nuked my cabby for 849 several times (i have capped body resists) whats that? dont say its crits! it cant be the same ammount of crit that many times

YES just been hit for 784 damage of a bainshee fully templated on warlock they just as op as a warlock

if ur gonna compare with the odd situasion of a lucky crit or a random high nuke please spare us of that. I have WP 4 and mom 3 on my bainshee and i rarely nuke for over 600 nowdays on someone with good resists. So that is bs. You cant compar that with the kind of arsenal a wl have. Thats just fact. Both Eld and chanter both are able to do exact same damade of higher and have all other toys that bainshees dont have. We can all find screenies or situasions were you got hit for high damage, thats not what this is a bout. I never insta killed anyone with full life on my bainshee.

With a bain my bard gets nuked for 500ish when we did some dmg testing it has the best temp i can think of with erynies charm and sash for resist pierc.

And hibs caster grps OPed what are u smoking? albs and mid caster grps are alot better imo, cabbys sorc thuergs 3 great casters, SMs BDs RMs also 3 great casters. bains like a RM without NS or bolts get a uninteruptable taunt. Eldys get NS but no pet like cabby do, and sorcs cabbys Sms all have lifetap to counter dmg taken if they MoC. oh and lets not forget the banelord insta lifetap spammer with heal pets with unlimited mana pool.


Hib caster grps can be good but are not even close to OPed compaired to alb or mid caster grps

Their damage output mainly, and the fact that a single bainshee can pretty much interrupt all the support in an enemy group from a range that none of the enemies could counter in any way.

Yeh why the heck do we even have different characters...let all have same characters imo...all equally able to kill as fast as possible. Why even be bothered to chat and interact.....thats not why we are here anyways!
We are all just effective murder mashines with no emotions and that hate eachother and wanna kill as fast as possible!
When daoc have people with ur kinda thinking left only and all the "normal" roleplayers died out...im out too

i stand corrected i have even used that focus NS but forgot about it
The taunt is the only thng that makes the bain stand out imo, the most ppl wajning at bains are ppl camping towers bridges where the bains bugged cone is teh uber

Bainshee pretty average. Much easier on other Hib casters to solo, just good for leeching.

Fg rvr, the taunt is fine if all enemies stay 2k+ away and your other damage dealers can nuke. Generally controlling a fight from 2k+ never happens as people still need to die....

Aye, bainshees ain't all that when solo, but they're a pain in a fg tho ;x

They won't be happy till sorcs lose 1850 range aoe mezz and Mythic makes it 700 range 50 aoe mezz.
They still QQ about the bolt range mezz despite the extensive test and proof Pin did to prove that any rvr group with speed 3 or higher will win the aoe mezz fight....
But that is too hard for the gaylock squad
