I dont get it - where do you download the client from?
Mine didn't say anything about any corrupt or wrong files when i installed. No problem at all, went as smooth as ever. it was downloaded from this house, over torrentz.

I think the issue lies with my isp who capps all download speed in peek hours - Ive had simular problems with them before for this issue.
However on a brighter note the patcher is now checking all my installed files - hopefully something will get sorted

I just tried to activate my code again 3 times, 14 hours after first entering it - each time it says 'code now activated' - this makes me very nervous indeed...

I did try all the tricks use different emails, did try different browers : IE, FF, Opera and Chorme did , delete cash mem.

so, yeah I'm stuck I guess unless some1 has a magic trick ?

Entered my key yesterday and still no mail, but now I tried entering it again 3 times in a row and after the 3rd validation I got the confirmation mail instantly. Patching atm and hopefully I'm going to be able to enter the game after that is done.

Still no update on how long it should take. Incredible this makes me really worried about headstart and also the start it self. GOA hire some programmers from Mythic or EA for that sake.
The clock is now almost 9 am cet and still no morning word.
I mean 15 hrs on my part for getting the email that just is LOL.

I friend of mine just regged hi's key for the second time, just for the fun of it, and he instantly got a mail, saying that it had not been registered. Same problem as SSS ^^

Okay guys-- it's confirmed. I decided to be a prick and add to the guys who are flooding the server with apps-- I opened 10 windows and filled them all out, and then hit the confirm button on all of them one after another... I got my email within 10 minutes, followed by a cluster of "already used" ones.

they fucked up the free beta keys,

why not give the people who did buy the CE SE like my self, to get in first, then when the servers are not saturated enough, they dump the freeloaders in.

I really don't think GOA can manage this well, I think they are just a typical corporation, trying to balance the classic business with as little service as you can let out with out loosing customers.

I don't GOA did reach the balance with the free beta key's.

Got my key at 5am this morning 11hrs after registering - set patcher going got to 100%.

Now are the servers down - cause if I press play it closes the logon and goes to the desktop

sss - tbh I think that one of the biggest issues that GOA has at the moment is failing to listen to the very people who they are now being insulted by. Ive been a beta tester for years with different games/apps and one of the things Ive come to appreciate from other companies is their willingness to heed the info and warnings given by their testers - GOA are not doing that

Well Registered my key at 3pm yesterday. Still no email to say its verified. So did the tab thing about 20 times now and still nothing. Guess pre-ordered the CE was a waste of time after all. They have til 3pm today which is 24 hrs, then i cancel and forget about the whole thing, WOTLK isnt far off il play that instead.

read on warhammer alliance if you spam them with your code reg , that you get your email 5mins later so done it about 10 time and hay presto got my email this very second happy spamming

OK. The race is on. I've given GOA a 14 hour head start. Let's see if I can obtain a US beta key, download the client and get playing before GOA can process one beta key application.

I work in the IT, so I know about abit about how things work behind the doors @ GOA

I imagine the staff are few and far between, they have a boss that has alot of things to do and to little time to do it.

I think the workspace that the staff are working with the space and equipment is about the same has GOA is doing in the OPEN Beta, old comps old desk bit of dirt here and there, little or no air around and really not that many people around to finish the job on time.

stop, that sounds alot like the office I work in .. ^^

Well, I put in my code at around 18:00 yesterday and still no email. Not going to spam the system, I shouldn't need to spam the system.

If the email isn't there by the time I get home, I'm going to phone them up and demand they do it over the phone then and there.

OMFG! Just got my email confirming my key is registered... but the game client tells me "authentication failed"...? Any ideas please???
