Hi everyone this is my first post since i have been too lazy to register but have been reading the posts for quite a while.

Ok, I dont know bout' the rest of ya'll but who is atleast a little interested in a T.L.S.I.T.W.O.T.W. online Story book .

YES, i was bored when i typed this, but just stick with me for a minute. The T.L.S.I.T.W.O.T.W. has been the funniest thing i have read other than the many of Bodhi's posts(many of which have been in T.L.S.I.T.W.O.T.W.). So hey if interested just reply(seeing how this is my firsat post i would be happy if some of ya'll just posted anyways). if you do then alright but if you dont well then...........

Well then its either the end or an abridged version(not sure how that would be done). Either way it was fun for the 5 posts i recieved(thanks!). Maybe when i am in my BBCIS1 class and i finish my comp. work(always done way before the other students). I will start typing it up, but dont expect much cause i got a life i have to attend to.

I like this idea. It could be broken down into chapters as well. The 'story' seems to haven fairly clear sections.

"Four Airstrikes, Two Robots and a platton of morris dancers."

That was the sound of the man hitting his head against the dictionary, the sound that echoed throughout the internet and the world, the sound that was soon to cause the 342nd worst catastrophy in the histiry of the world. The sound that was heard by Sakatori Wakimookalo, a Chief commander in the Japaneese armed forces, during a very important meeting, in which the Japaneese decided to strike war on the united democratic repulican state of m00, home to the m00 people, and the m00 peoples cows, for no particular reason, just that the japaneese couldnt say m00 and it rather annoyed them.

Moments later in the UN headquarters in Washington, news was comming in of the unexplained Japaneese attacks on m00, "What the hell do those damm Japaneese Skumbags think their doing?" said President Bush, "We must retaliate immediately, launched an attack on Japan". It was at this moment that another worldwide deafening reverbaration was heard from the dictionary. "WHATS THAT YOU SAY?" shouted the chief Military advisor to keep above the noise "ATTACK JAPAN?"
"YES" shouted the president, "ATTACK JAPAN!"
"ATTACK JAPON?" shouted the Military advisor, trying his very hardest to hear the president over the noise.
"YES, JAPAN?"
"JAPON?"
"YES!" It was at this point that the noise died down.
"Well" said the Advisor, "Good Job thats died down again, launch the attacks".

Michael McLachen was a complicated man, he had lived in Japon, the small welsh village, home to its famous 346 pubs (two for every resident if a recent government survey is to be believed) and was now, along with all the other residents, rather pissed off at being targetted by the worlds largest military power, of cource, he didnt allways think about this, you see, McLachen was mentally insane, and so his mind often wandered to a wide variety of subjects. Anyhow, the people of the village decided to rise up against these actions by hiring a stern london solicitor, Sir Cecil Montgomery Crap-Hide, to write a letter of complait to (for some unexplained reason, the people of Japon never were the most intelligent bunch, the Japaneese Armed forces...

Yeah that looks alright maybe like Someguy said put in the peoples name who contributed it(like the little #'s, when you look in the back of thr book you can tell who typed or wrote it originally), but yeah looks good.

Maybe create a new BW user and host in at tlsitwotw.barrysworld.com, or something. Might be nice to keep the same colour scheme and design as the BW forums.

I like that idea SomeGuy. It feels 'right' to keep the story in Barry's house. I'll see about putting together some html [just the story mind you, nothing fancy].
When it's more or less done, I'll post an url to it. After comments, positive critisisims and insane spamming we could put it up on the site you mentioned.

Nice one, but the layout is the all-important thing. Times Roman is not good, need something like Arial, Tahoma or Verdana, maybe.

Needs a good design and perhaps use colour to distinguish different posts. There's a danger it could just look like a colourful mess, of course.

You couldnt really use different colours unless we were printing the original, unedited version, which were not. The stuff ive written edited completely from the source material, so we couldnt really highlight it much atall. As for the layout, ill leave that to tdc et all. Tho Im sure as hell not writing the whole thing on my own, a little help anyone?

no multicolored crap tho, I'll leave that to peeps who think that the blink tag is cool
problem I'm having now is how to grab the text off BW. I made a little script that connected to the webserver, asked for the page [to pull into a variable, then print to a file] so at least I'd have the whole thing on my drive to play with, but that didn't work very well
I'm not going to c/p you see as vI is 579 posts and vII about 5 times that heh
