At first I thought it sucked...then I realised it needs a very steady hand...it is more sensitive to low light and movement than my SLR optical Canon (probably coz I tend to use asa400 and really big lenses) ...once I got used to it I got to really like it..now I take it everywhere.
I bought a 64 Meg card to put in it for about 50 quid...without this the capacity for storing pix in max resolution is pathetic. Theres no sound with the video...but its usable as a webcam. As with most digital cameras...you may spend as much on batteries as you save by not buying film ....it connects as a removable drive via usb (ie no need to reboot to use it...just plug it in)...
I use it for my web site mostly...but my pics are all in highest res and I photo CD them.
If money is an issue this camera aint bad .... if your doing the photos for someones wedding...I wouldn't recommend
that wont help...the website files are all compressed to 100-200 K (plus its family stuff). A full size high res piccy weighs in at > 1 Mb @1024 x 1280....I can e-mail some examples...
