As anyone who has studied martial arts for a while will tell you, moves like that are pretty much useless in a real fight. When it comes down to it, simplicity is the key.

Having said that, this guy has obviously trained for most of his life and would be more than capable to pound yours truly into the ground.

Don't really recognise the style though. Anyone?

wu-shu gets my bet, although its very likely a mix of wu-shu and weird ass kung-fu with some capoeira thrown in the mix.
After 10secs I was kinda waiting for that jump-kick where he lands with his legs apart, that move is SO fucking "standard" in those type of flicks its starting to get boring :\ (its a damn impressive move, but when you've seen it on every single dude that EVER had a cam and too much free-time, well...)

like you say, its probably not much good in a streetfight but he'd whup my ass, no doubt :)

ps: nerf his shout-selfbuffs, they started clapping before he did ANYTHING but shout :p

All hes doing is a Form or Set hes made up for himself, you can tell this as hes ding it to music, When i Compeated in Dublin we got to see loads of this (i never did it, i just did the fighting stuff) including one guy with 2 set of nunchukka's the funny bit was he was wearing a gum shield.. makes me wonder how many times he had needed it.. Ouch

I went to a marital arts festival in Paris a few years ago and they had loads of people doing those sort of things, mainly from Karate and Kung Fu schools. Personally I've studied Aikido and Ninjutsu and it sure as hell ain't those ;)

Edit: oh and just to note, that stuff in a street fight would just get you killed. Even if you do land a hit with one of those kicks, the force is no where near as much as a well placed punch. Of course if you're a fat b*****d then just sit on him :p

your talking arse mate, what you dont know is that style is put together by many diffrent fighting arts and dances, even breakdancing is in it, They hold championships to see who can put all these forms together the best and perform them the best also, There is a site for it .... this dude on the clip is actin like he's good at when he does when he isnt, wait till the weekend and i'll show u sommit that will make him look like a disabled monkey.
