Labour MP's verdict on the new legislative agenda:

This sums up where we have gone wrong in the first two years in government. We talk about not going back to the status quo and then propose boosting growth by tweaking the wording of regulators’ remits.

I.E. business as usual.

If the government really wanted to keep Reform out then they'd have a stab at radical change - the radical change voters have been screaming for for a decade now.

But they ain't getting it. Labour or Tory - you get tweaks and gradual enshittification.

Again - I'm not saying Reform will be better - I don't think they will be.

But you vote for Labour or Tory in FPTP, then this shit is what you're guaranteed.

Who needs Wall Street when you have Wes Street? Anyway, what a bunch of clowns. The bar for doing better than the Tories was so low, and they've somehow managed to duck under it, and are surprised that the electorate is voting with their feet.

For the billionaire who gave him £5m that's like giving a mate a few hundred quid.

I guess dem's the circles eh? Good that they're properly looking into it, as they should.

I'm with them on one thing though - we should be in on crypto, instead of the rounding of the wagons of the corrupt and closed shop fractional reserve banking system.

@Gwadien - where should Farage stand on this:

Considering it's the teaching of the Church?

I think considering the Far Right has taken up Christianity more recently (with calls to crusade etc) I think it would be wise of him not to associate himself with such figures.

Farage/Reform have repeatedly said they're not racist, Islamophobic, homophobic etc so it seems like a bit of an own goal.

It annoys me how this seems to be accepted by many people. If it was for personal security than why didn't the billionaire simply employ those security people himself?

I think it's the Guardian smearing by association.

We all know that religion is racist, sexist and homophobic - but unless we are to ban religion, they should be free to spout their hateful bile.

That way the whole country can see what they're *actually* about.
