The English guy was taking the piss by asking me for £17,000 for 2 normal wooden sash windows. And the Poles still live here, they've made a home here, they did a job nobody else wanted to do and did it extremely well. I recommend them to everyone.

Perhaps if your average flag shagger showed a bit of initiative, he could be doing the job they do. But the flag shagger would rather swill some Kestrel Super Strength down his gullet and blame everyone else.
Yup, loads of them at work, skilled and semi-skilled, good folk.

Voter fraud at Gorton and Denton byelection apparently. inb4 legal challenge over the results.

Claims come from a little-known organisation run by a former libdem MP and even if true, would likely not even nearly change the result. What you're seeing is the MAGA playbook in action - "the election was stolen, voter fraud, ban postal voting" etc etc

Note how completely the Tory vote collapsed - that's where your Reform votes came from.

Reform and the Greens; is there any clearer indication of just how fucked Britain is? Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

yea no shit.... either farage and his tory cabinet 2.0 or the greens and their absolutely lunatic policies.

At this point I think i'd rather have the raving monster loony party in charge.

I do like the Tories trying to crow about the result, considering where they came in the result.

Kemi Badinoch was right about one thing though, Starmer tried to pander for mass Muslim votes and it blew up in his face and they all voted for Green instead.

It'll be interesting to see who Starmer throws under the bus because of this because he won't take accountability himself... my money is on Mahmood going under the Starmer bus.

Interesting fact to describe the sclerotic nature of successive governments over time, did you know the planning costs of the Lower Thames Crossing are roughly the same as the costs to build initial 70 miles of the M1 when adjusted for inflation, about £300m.

I'm pretty sure Labour noted the family voting thing as well, I'm guessing they're also doing the MAGA Playbook thing.

Or as anyone who's paid attention to US Politics for more than 2 minutes would call it - the Al Gore Playbook.

How did he?

He's spent weeks/months pandering to the Muslim community because he was losing votes over his initial stance on Israel/Gaza, he flip flopped about too much which is why Muslims turned to the Green party because the Greens were strong in their stance on Israel/Gaza and haven't changed their stance since.

Some of the things he's done in the last 6 months

Government funding to protect Mosques and Muslim communities

Allowing Iftar in Parliament

In general focussing on demands from specific groups

He's a wet noodle basically. He'll do anything to save his own skin.

That said, Green still can't win a GE unfortunately. Labour still held onto 9000 votes there, which tells me Labour will hold onto votes in other areas too, ultimately I don't think Green has the push to get a GE win.

We're fucked either way though lets be honest

Greens are mental - we're fucked
Farage is a massive bag of shit with Tories in his pocket - we're fucked

There is no good party winner in the GE, there isn't even a lesser of the two evils option because they both have their extreme downsides.

Lmao wtf, 'government funding to protect Muslims and mosques?'

What are you implying? Muslims should pay for their own police?

You are aware there's been a spate of near misses by people taking weapons into mosques etc?

I can't even be arsed to engage with your other points, don't you see the irony in the accusation that Labour are playing divide and conquer yet you've just typed all that horseshit lol. Kemi is playing the Farage game and you've fallen for it.

Muslims hate Labour more than anyone currently, it's why in Muslim areas they have independent MPs, or in my case a fucking Tory, lol. They're not going to get the vote back and this is the first time I've ever heard any suggestion that they're somehow pandering to the Muslim vote, if you actually look at policies they're pandering to the right wing vote...

I mean... Mahmood to press on with immigration reforms despite by-election defeat

Not what I'm saying, while normal for governments to do so its the timeframe starmer did it all in.

Maybe because it's Ramadan and there's been an increased threat level to mosques and they show respect to all religious events in Parliament?

I mean, if they were pandering to Muslims, the last thing they would have done is have a white woman and candidate, no?

Yep, it's because Muslims.

But it's labour that's using that card lol.

Fucked either way like I said :p pretty sure Reform will win the next GE unless Farage does something monumentally stupid between now and then (which lets be honest, it's Farage so there's a high likelihood of that happening), Green just doesn't have the push to get them over the line. When Reform win = NHS fucked, workers rights fucked, pretty much anything people take for granted fucked... basically just the Tories again with some added extras sprinkled on top of the dogshit pie.

I mean a good start is to not believe the bullshit.
Why is your bullshit better than his bullshit?

You've steadfastly ignored hard and fast evidence for the past 18 months. Actual policy, actual verifiable facts. And it's not knocked your belief in Labour even slightly.

A "funny" isn't an argument @Gwadien. That's something else you've refused to do over the last 18 months - produce counter-evidence.

When your response is akin to Embattle's standard response then, deep down, you know where you're at :)

Nah, because all the accusations that you level at me apply to you and it's pointless circle arguments, that's why there's less and less people engaging on this forum, because it's a massive waste of time.

If you want to be the 'yeah but' guy for far right divisive bollocks then that's up to you, but it doesn't mean I need to repeatedly engage in your circle 'devil's advocate' horseshit, it's really fucking boring.

As you yourself said - Starmer is a massive Zionist who's a cuck to his overlord Jew-wife, but also they're pulling out all the stops for Muslims. Bollocks.
