I thought earlier that FIFA wouldn't have a leg to stand on if one of the national/continental associations went to CAS but that process would likely take far longer than the rest of the tournament so they're just hoping to be able to bully their way through until it's over so as not to upset Qatar and then act as if it was all a big misunderstanding or something.
