I really don't understand Spurs at the moment, really shit run of games interrupted by one of their best games in years.

I think it's probably because they're tinpot and all their fans are cheese and bean melts

Abramovich is selling, or trying to sell. There have been stories flying around that he's trying to offload all of his UK real estate as well.
I have instructed my team to set up a charitable foundation where all net proceeds from the sale will be donated. The foundation will be for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine. This includes providing critical funds towards the urgent and immediate needs of victims, as well as supporting the long-term work of recovery.
Fair. The cynic in me thinks it's so he'll be looked upon kindly re: sanctions but it'll cost him a fair whack to follow through with it (unless he does some financial shenanigans regarding the debt the club owes him).

I see Everton have pulled advertising from Usmanov, at least shirt/training sponsorship. Can't have expected us to move fast after all.

It doesn't seem permanent, probably until the Russia thing has blown over if it does... Don't know if this will have any impact on the new stadium as I'm sure he and Moshiri have quite a deal going on.

Also unsure if Moshiri could be impacted himself.

Saturday "oh wow, the results today have really aided us. We have to make sure we turn up on Monday"

Monday "oh of course..."

I think keeping him on or even hiring him to begin with both worked out to be dangerous decisions, definitely a no win.

Benitez' tactics and team selections left a lot to be desired and he didn't learn from it. The fans in the stadium where on his back and that affected the team, Moshiri should have left him well alone.

I'm still willing to give Lampard some time to rectify this, but he's making cardinal mistakes with our defence also.

Coleman should be making way for Patterson, yet even though he didn't do anything wrong against Boreham Wood Lampard chose to pull him off (??) in the first half of all things. Coleman didn't do diddly last night, zero tackles.

Holgate, I've repeated myself countless times on that sack of shit. Keane has lost all confidence in defence, he's a broken man. Jonjo Kenny playing out of position - we'd rather have that than Myolenko?

I wonder how many have relegation clauses in their contracts.

Inter hit that well against the run IMO. Game on :)

Edit: Feel bad for Sanchez, he's been one of the best players I think. But fair.

Haha, PSG in fine form tonight! It couldn't have happened to a nicer petrostate backed club.

Fuck'em, that's what happens when you build a squad of mercenaries and personalities, and not team players.

Abramovich sanctioned and assets seized, does this mean Chelsea are now a govt run club?

The strange thing is, I am not even sure they can offload players either.

Happy for them to be relegated. This season.

No other underlying reasons why.

I'm just wondering if the players end up being free agents or sold by the administrators.
