Same as the CL - away goals don't matter and there'll be extra time and pens to break a tie after the second leg. With a handful of exceptions, Bellingham always has a good game. He's a superstar, especially considering he's still only 18.

Here he is talking about not letting his team mates give up. He's 18 ffs. Future captain of everything material.

I was very impressed with Joe Aribo on the Rangers side, we were linked to him this winter and I can see why now. Nice to see Rambo come on for 15 mins as well. I hope Rangers can hold on at home and go on a bit of a run, I'd love to see a bit of a resurgence of Scottish football.

Lucky they stuck the roof on well (and designed it to do exactly what it's doing in the video to prevent damage).

It could start getting spicy at the bottom with Watford and Burnley both winning. Burnley still have about 50 games in hand so they could really pull themselves out of trouble if they string a couple of results together. I get the feeling Newcastle are going to be ok but Everton, Leeds and Brentford could find themselves in a scrap.

Not a good result at all today, we had opportunities but we didn't in any way test their keeper. But yes with the other teams around us getting points from somewhere it's planted us straight back in it.

It's not so bad though, we're at home next week... Oh shit, right yeah...

Don't think you had a shot on target against us. Everton looked decent on the ball first 20 mins but we dominated after that and fully deserved the win. Another good result and we roll on!

Get fucked again oil cunts!

I don't understand Spurs. I bet we get turned over by Burnley on Thursday.

Huge 6 pointer coming up, assuming Liverpool beat Leeds (game in hand) and both teams keep winning.

Spurs just seem to have the rub on City, god knows why. Kane seemed out to prove a point today, his best game for a while. Him and Son when they get it right together just look so so good.

Conte had obviously been drilling the defence hard since we beat you as they were dreadful that day but looked much more composed today.

Dier being back is massive. The composure and organisation of the back line noticeably improves when he's playing. Sanchez is an enigma - he can put in an immense performance one week and then look like he's never kicked a ball the week after. I guess it boils down to confidence but he's infuriatingly inconsistent. The jury's still out on Royal as well but he put in some crucial challenges today. Just an overall much better defensive performance than we've seen recently.

Tell us you don't have a clue without telling us you don't have a clue.

It's got fuck all to do with application or effort.
Had it with Liverpool for years. We could beat the big boys but didn't show up against the smaller teams.

Maybe not lazy, but definitely a mentality issue. Beating the big boys they were properly up for it. And fine margins...

Add more quality and you still need the mentality.

We regularly lose against big teams though. We've played Chelsea 4 times this season and not only have we lost all of them, we haven't scored a goal. For years and years (pre-Poch) our record against the "top 4" was atrocious.

We created chances against Saints and Wolverhampton, just didn't convert enough of them to take anything from the games. Maybe Wolves would've been different had we not conceded those ridiculous goals but they put us on the back foot and Conte had to change formation/personnel in the ~25th minute and we just never looked like getting back into it (and it's no accident that Wolves have the 2nd best defensive record in the league this season).

Today was all about having a possession vs counter plan and executing it to perfection and the counters were almost universally successful. Kane played the game of his life today and Dias and Laporte couldn't get near him. The problem comes when we come up against a team that will let us have the ball and invite us to get through them (ie Burnley).

Sancho looks like United's best player after his slow start

2nd quarter of that was awful but overall a fun game.... a bit disappointed but can't really moan about that result - awful conditions though !

Shock horror. A club's social media department riding the wave of what everybody is calling one of Kane's best ever performances.

Unlikeable is a weird adjective to choose but whatever floats your boat. :)

When's the dvd out?

The serious point is that other clubs just don't do things like this.

It's a highlights video, everything in it deserves to be in it... everyone was talking about Kane after the match, the club knew the fans would lap it up. Any social media department worth its salt would be all over it.

I just hope you don't stumble upon the (fantastic) "Conte Cam" touchline videos the club puts out after wins... 😬

Stadium FC, Social Media FC, No trophies FC.

Spurs live absolutely rent free in my head.

I swear all their fans love to go on about how massive they are but every little thing they do screams tinpot.

You're mad. Spurs fans are some of the most self-deprecating around. Half of the fans were happy for Kane to go in the Summer because "he deserves better than Tottenham", were confused as to why Son would sign a new contract with us instead of leaving and wondered how the fuck we managed to land a player of Romero's quality.

Kane's one of the best ever English players, his individual performance was outstanding in a match we won against the Champions (a match that commentators were calling a "Premier League classic") and "he's one of our own". It's a total no brainer for any club to ride that wave (and if you don't think they would you're delusional) and any club's social media team who didn't should find a different line of work.

I wonder how hard I'd have to look to find an official Saints video wanking over JWP free kicks or clips from Saints matches highlighting individual players' performances. Because that's all this is. If you condensed it down to literally just Kane's bits and didn't show replays and other players' contributions (eg Son's run and Kulusevski's goal) it'd obviously be much shorter but it's hilarious that it upsets you so much. It's a club pandering to its fans after a big win, get over it lol.

It's only because it Spurs, it wouldn't wind me up anywhere near as much if it was another club.

Especially after all the Spurs fans were having a go at Arsenal for celebrating their win at Wolves too much.

Arsenal fans and Spurs fans ripping strips off of each other over the stupidest shit you've ever heard... Imagine that. :)

Eg:

By the way it wasn't even Spurs fans taking the piss about the Wolves win originally, it was Neves who said it...

Like I said, for whatever reason, rational reasoning goes out of my head where Spurs are concerned. Rent free.
