West Ham put West Ham in an impossible situation by playing the prick a day after the story broke. Suspend him, fine him, send him on some "educational course" or whatever but ffs don't play him.

Their champions League winning manager who had them winning 1 game between the start of October and the end of Jan?
Yep. It,'s clearly a problem in the club and they needed a stubborn cunt to fix the structure.

Fat Frank gonna do better? Maybe with the signings. But I doubt it.

I'm not sure Lampard will do better, but Benitez was hated by the fans before he even started, and was doing an unbelievably shit job. It was nearly 20 years ago he won the champions league and it looks like football has left him behind. Everton had nothing to lose by getting rid. Winning 1 league game in 4 months with a team the size of Everton is one of the most embarrassing managerial performances in prem history imo, and it's amazing he lasted as long as he did.

Police will look into it so he should've been suspended until the investigation is concluded. Not very comply, but very West Ham.

Some game at Stadium FC tonight. Great win for us, Spurs normally kill us.

Some catastrophic defending and a non-existent midfield from us but your lot were superb tbh, Ralph said it was the best performance since he joined and it looked like it. We came back into it after the break after a mostly shocking first half but those 2 goals just completely fucked us.

Now do it again against United at the weekend.

This Diaz chap seems pretty handy.

It really fucks me off that Liverpool keep making astute signings. Bring back the days of £35m for Andy Carroll and whatever they paid for Paul fucking Konchesky.

Not only do they make signings that are absolutely perfect for them but by the time it leaks out that they're interested in a player, the transfer is already as good as wrapped up because they're so fucking professional about it all. Infuriating.

They paid over 30 for Benteke as well although to be fair I think they made that back selling him to Palace.

Everton were so close to signing Diaz in the summer, Porto wanted to swap/cash for Rodriguez and it looked to be on.
Diaz was interested... Rodriguez said no deal though.

The ubershaft.

Another good result for us yesterday. I've been tipping Hasenhuttl to United for ages and it looks like the press are starting to run with it now.

That would be a shame, UTD won't be fixed until they change their entire board.

Good result for us too, at least if we perform like this at Goodison with the fans onside we should be good....

Shame we're against mostly "top" teams at home now, but there's still a lot of winnable games.

Donny played well yesterday, if he keeps it up I just wonder if he'll be allowed to leave United, they seem to give him promises but never do anything..

I'm sure it's great for a night out up that way, but this isn't an isolated incident when it comes to nights out in the North East for him.

I really don't get the T Rex jibes though, it's as if they tried all the names under the sun and for some reason that has just stuck.

At what point do you become wealthy enough to just ignore the peons?

Everything else in life, going great. Wankers start insulting you, and you can't rise above and walk away?

No idea how Liverpool came away from that with a 2-0 win. Good game.

Dortmund v Rangers was a great watch tonight. Biggest result for a Scottish team since god knows when. Did Celtic maybe beat United in the Champions League around 2010?

It was a fantastic match and Rangers were well worth the result. There's no doubt that Dortmund huff and puff without Haaland but he'll be back for the second leg so they can't be ruled out, even though it'll be at Ibrox. They seem to be more and more fragile at the back as well, like they hope they'll just score more than they concede but without Haaland they're doing the conceding bit without doing as much of the scoring bit. They've got players like Malen and Dahoud who seem to not show up more often than not as well.

They had a strong side out, minus Haaland as well. I thought Bellingham had a good game, took his goal superbly. Looking forward to the second leg - do you know if away goals count in the Europa League?
