Either way the clubs won't care too much.

Trip to Brazil, possible injury + 10 day quarantine? Or 5 day ban.

Easy maths isn't it.

Bit annoyed with no subs used, they look tired in so many areas.

It won't make any difference to qualifying for England so not that bothered, Poland deserved the point.

Only caught the last 15 mins of the game. Poland gave it everything and thoroughly deserved their goal
Pickford was lucky. Silly sausage.

I think Southgate has done an amazing job with team cohesion and whatnot, he sets up a good team, selection and tactics.

The problem is, he just cannot adapt to the game in front of him. He is just too slow and methodical.

I know we have heard it all before, but this England is literally bursting at the seems with talent, we should be doing better.

Ronaldo is an absolute machine.

I was a bit annoyed that MoTD basically spoke entirely about Ronnie and ignored Fernandes' contender for goal of the season and the fact that Jessie Lingard's West Ham renaissance is no fluke.

Context, he's 36 years old and scores 2 on his (return) debut in the prem, he isn't playing against farmers any more.

I understand the context, and I'm not keen on it. "Everything is all about Ronaldo" ended up being a disaster at Juventus and I don't fancy a repeat at United.

I don't think it will, and I certainly don't think he will be playing every game, UTD have some amazing players to rotate. Great to see Lingard play, and score. I was a bit worried after they didn't sell him.

I expect extreme blowback from this. FIFA are basically demanding clubs subsidise players on international duty 2-3 times longer than they already do (in order to cover quarantine), and at a time when you've got bullshit proposals like 2-year World Cups. I know the Super League was a shite idea, but sometimes you can really see why clubs would like to wash their hands of governing bodies altogether.
They seem to have gotten away with this by getting the countries like mexico to withdraw their complaints. So they can say there is no issue.

Just stuck the radio on. First thing I hear is that Salah looked away when he saw the result of the challenge on Harvey Elliot :(

On teh beeb: " There has been no replay of the incident, which tells you the seriousness of the injury. "

And Dion Dublin with "quite right too".

Why? Show us what fucking happened? Are we now such a bunch of pussy snowflakes that we're not allowed to see the outcome of a tackle?

Blabla some viewers find these scenes disturbing.

But I'm sure these same viewers also watch chicken nugget porn. Yes it's actually a thing. No it has nothing to do with chicken... or nuggets.

I don't really know if I want to look that up. :(
His leg twisted a bit of a weird way in the live video. And then the physio came on and pulled both his legs together.

he was clapping the crowd as he left the field On a stretcher

Not as bad as it looks then, hopefully any muscle and tendon damage is minimal.

I mean, farmers would put Newcastle to the sword this season. Ronaldo's second goal went straight through our goalkeepers gaping legs and Fernandez had about an acre of space on the edge of our box, our team is just pathetic this year.

That was a frustrating match in the first half, especially as Burnley were going in hard with some fouls... Second half certainly turned it on though.

That Townsend goal though - What a cracker...! What was even better was how fast we clicked and they were completely shellshocked within 10 minutes. When the commentator popped up with the stats "Burnley haven't done so well from winning positions..." it all went to hell for them.

Townsend and Gray have been exactly what we've been missing.

Benitez has turned around our attitude especially coming from losing positions, the only downside so far (*Even though we are getting the points...) is that our first halves are always so slow and dour. I think also the fans being in the stadium are giving the players a kick up the jacksee being vocal when we're over the place.

I'll say as I have for a while... We may have a good attitude in places, but Richarlison is just an unneeded petulance on the team. It's a toss-up between him and Rodriguez at the minute. Hard to believe we're giving Rod £1m per month and he has shown virtually no commitment to the team this season...
