Stuck in a TravelLodge in Reading on a training course so decided to go to the cinema. Anyone seen this yet, went last night. Really enjoyed it.

But ew, the end, having not read reviews wasnt expexting anything quite so "nerve shattering".

Poor girl in the row behind me fainted and I've got to say, I can watch horrorfilms until my brain aches but it made me feel distinctly queasy as well.

Hadnt eaten before going to the cinema, was going to go to a restaurant afterwards....

After seeing the film, I had nooooooo appetite at all lol

I saw this last night too and thought it was a brilliant film. They portrayed his emotional state so well.

I shall be damn sure to make sure someone knows where I'm going next time I go climbing mind.

I thought the guy who played the main character (James Franco?) put in a brilliant performance.

I wish some year some really oer the top action flick ala style of Rambo wins the film of the year. Maybe with Duke Nukem the movie.

But it's always the "Pleasently disturbing!" "Moving!" "Deeply touching!" etc movies.

No wait, that's TdC :D

Aaanyway, off the soapbox and into this topic;

I watched a part of the movie(you know what) and didn't think much of it, but i've never been that lightheaded over these things, but can see how some would be(especially in the surpressed americas).

Not really my style of movie otherwise, but might watch if i happen to run across it.

You really need to watch the whole film, watching one clip without the build up of the rest of his journey to get there and understanding the guys state of mind as he gets to the ends puts a totally different spin on it.

To the OP, I recommend you watch 'Into the Wild' with Emile Hirsch another fantastic true story. Don't read up about it before hand just pick it up from the video store and watch it.

Simply meant the graphical nature of it, i'm betting it's a nice flick and as said, will probably watch if i run into it.

Didn't really fancy it - I kind of get a Tom Hanks talking to his Basketball for three very long and never to be returned hours vibe off the trailer.
