On September 5th I pre-ordered a special DVD box set of Spiderman.
This contains the two disc set the european release will have as well as the soundtrack and the masterpiece that is, "Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters and Marvels"
As you can see on the webpage above, the release date is 04/11/02. Well, the 4th came and the order status page showed a delivery within 3-4 days. Excellent I thought. 3-4 days passed and a quick check back on the order status page showed that it was now labelled as 1-2 weeks.
Phoned them yesterday and was told that they hadn't even begun to recieve the import stock from Australia yet. An e-mail today says that the DVD should be with them early next week.
This means that my lovely, new Spiderman DVD will not arrive until after the UK's version is released on Monday.
On the page it also says that , "Pre-orders must be in by Sep. 19th". I took this as meaning that to guarentee a delivery date of the 04/11 you had to order by 19/09.
Basically, never order imports from 101cd.com. I had no corrospondence at all until I phoned the gits up. Not a nice company and, once Spiderman arrives, they will be having no more of my precious money.
