Strafing can help.

Also if you are attacking a sojourner char, stick to them so the fz won't work. And if you're in a group with nearsight that helps a bit also as the length is too far for them and most sojourners only have 1 groundset macro so they cant use it.

Same Q asked while back, and theres the link.

Basicaly, don't /face and run directly at em, strafe lots, try to keep right in front of em so it passes behind you and zerging them works too, other then that, not much else.

I think FZ should be nerfed to the point that LA users would /grin and smite clerics would rofl.

Timer should be nerfed any way but what sucks most is the /assist train when you're zephyred. They should make you imune if you're zephyred.

The point isnt to zephyr people being attacked, it counts as a 10 second non resistable non purgable stun on casters and healers so they cant do anything, there is no need to zephyr tanks on you unless you don't have a battlermaster tank in your group...

A good tactic I've seen mid tank groups use:

1) AoE mez
2) /assist MA and zephyr
3) Tanks get 10s of free back styles (i.e. bearing some miracle: it's dead jim!)

Obviously this takes a deal of co-ordination, but a mid group can do this 4x in a row.

Props to the groups who pull this off, however it's *very* frustrating to be on the recieving end of.

FZ is only really overpowered in solo/small group fights. In FG fights its essential as a counter to BG.
Since mythic have shown again and again the game isnt designed around soloing I doubt FZ will be nerfed before, say... grapple.

If they make it purgable they need to make all other MLs purgable too, grapple, speedwarp, all warlord shit etc etc

Group purge, insta ae mezz, grapple MA, grapple some other tank. nuke nuke, make FH pwn thread.

Obviously this takes a deal of co-ordination, but a hib group can do this a few times in a row.

Stand inside, or almost inside your enemy and you will be 100% safe.

Use crippling; pa, cd, switch weapons, sprint inside his avatar, restick and the worthless scout will be back on the pad in no time.

I disagree, when used as I described zephyr is very powerful.

I know zephyr is the counter to BG, and I have NO problem with its use like that (BG needs a counter). However, normally you can kite the assist train, this is not possible if you are zephyred.

Personally I beleive zephyr should be like grapple, the person zephyred can't be melee'd. It would still be an excellent counter to a BGer or pretty much anyone who needs to be taken out of the picture for a few seconds (MoC spread healer for example).

But they can be nuked like grapple? Melee imunity in every case makes the game that more balanced, nobdick

Maybe both grapple and fz brings immunity too both magic n melee for the victim, hows that sound?

Sure 100% melee and magic immunity would be good: but do you think that'd happen?

> nobdick

What kind of abortion of a cuss is that?
