This game is simple
Name your top 5 WC favorits

I have

- Argentina -
- Germany -
- Spain -
- Holland -
- Brasil -

One could argue to switch Italy for germany or brasil,
but history has tought us that you have to take these two into account ect... ;)

And after it's all over we can look back and see who had the best batting avrage
"who had the most teams that got the farthest"

Hmm WC faves eh?

well I like the ones in the bar round the corner because they have ultra fast hand driers, the ones in Alex's are quite nice and have hand creams and fancy soaps but I mean jeeze it's pretty hard to name 5 WCs that I think are top... I mean most of the time I'm in and out without noticing them...

If you don't believe that your own country can win it, what is the point in watching then?

We beat Portugal 3-2 in Portugal. You didn't score against Japan.. Good luck at the WC

the only reason to discard them though would be Maradona

only English people "or hardcore asian britania fans" would include England in a top 5,
wich this thread seems to back up.

but lets leave that to the WC thread ? "after all we already have such a thread"
so lets keep this to peoples top 5 without ridicule yes ?

Spain, Argentinia, South Africa, Holland, Germany

It´s going to be a tough WC for Germany. Our team is *very* young and lacking experience. Five players, Ballack being the most important one - are injured. I guess we´re going to make it through the first round, but after that, it´s going to be tricky.

Spain's midfield/attack is so good I'm beginning to think of them like that evil team in disney sports movies that always wear black :(

I do find France an Interesting choice,
They are far from the days of Zidane,
and barely managed to qualify ending behind Serbia.

ofc. they have as good a chance as any to top it it all,
but to place them in the top 5 favorits ? that seems abit nostalgic to me ;)

Check my sig noob

Barcelona - Breed success, not buy it.

That pretentious wank puts me right off your signature tbh. Not to mention inaccurate: £34.2m for David Villa wasn't it? Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes that look like small change though, second highest transfer fee ever at £60.7 million.

Going back a bit further in time we have Marc Overmars signed from Arsenal for £25m, Ronaldinho for £21m, Rivaldo and Saviola for £16m a piece.

Home grown my arse.
