Fuck me I used my CC in Ann summers last night, I bet the head of international security wants to know what I am going to blow up with my special edition Rampant Rabbit!!!!!

There is neither the technology or the man power to track/follow every single person. The people that think these thoughts, believe they are so superior because they can see it happening, yet they are thick as shit when it comes to how it is actually REALLY going to work.

I fail to see how Hitler can use my new vibrator against me in any way. this country will never become what Germany did because we as people will not allow it.

I love the idea of ID cards, if you aint git one get the fuck out :) As a law abiding citizen I welcome the cards. I have nothing to hide.

So you dont care about privacy and freedom?
Maybe you wont object to a government spy camera in every room of your house, including your bedroom, linked back to a police monitoring station?
Or as you know, spy satellite technology is now getting so sophisticated that the government may propose that a high-power camera in space can now track each citizen 24/7, and watch and record their every movement. If you have nothing to hide, why would you fear such a system? .

They're watching me!!!!!!

Who cares? They'll get bored of watching me wake up (slowly), go to the loo, have some bran flakes and milk while I watch the news, stroke my pussy (well, 3 of them to be precise), drive to work, get to work, fail to do any work, surf on forums, fail to do more work, refine my plans for galactic domination, drive home, eat my dinner, watch TV, surf on forums, play computer games, read a book and go to bed.

At weekends they'll get all of that without the failing to work bit.

And you wonder why I don't fear such a system?

Can you honestly see that sort of thing happening? I mean, take your tinfoil hat off and use some common sense. They really don't care about 90% of the population. Its the potential terrorists and troublemakers they will be watching, and good - they SHOULD be watching them! If having the odd phone call or email tapped/scanned means that my local town won't get bombed then that is a good thing.

Can you honestly see the scenarios in V for Vendetta coming around?

Naetha listen..the principle is that you are a sovereign citizen and you do not live by ‘government permission’. We live in a pragmatic age where most people agree with the statement: “If it works – then to hell with principle.” - this worries me.

i never agree with joor i think he overreacts, but this is one thing i do think can go out of control

Over the last 5 years i have watched more and more of our rights being taken away because we cant be trusted, things from allowing to vote on what happens like the congestion charge just told be told fuck off its happening anyway, correct me if i am wrong but that goes agains democracy.

To taking away swings in parks because a child can hurt himself. I played on swings all my childhood and yeah i feel off, i'm still here tho

Can people not see that stuff like the smoking ban, fox-hunting ban, congestion charge etc are actually just common sense put into practice? For too long the people of this country (and most like it) feel that its their inalienable right to do what the fuck they want? The law is there to protect people, and if you can't see that, then maybe you need to review what you want out of life. How many laws currently in force do you strongly disagree with?

Each year we are seeing more and more bureaucrats having access to your citizen file, and more and more data being required to be placed on your file.
It will also make us constantly and habitually defer to state control on a daily basis...“Have I got my ID card? What if I’m stopped? I must remember not to go out without it. I hope I’m not caught this time…” and “Should I buy this magazine on guns? What if it ends up on my record? Maybe I’d better not visit that country – it would look bad on my file. Maybe I won’t buy that extra bottle of wine – it could damage my health record and affect my insurance premiums..

If they didn't want to buy magazines on guns, they would stop publishing them. Why would visiting a country look bad on your "file"? Any country that is not in the EU you get a stamp in your passport for visiting anyway, so that comment is pretty invalid.
If that bottle of wine is going to be enough to change your insurance premiums, them maybe you shouldn't drink it anyway? Maybe that would be telling you something? You can't expect to have the freedom to drink yourself into an early grave and NOT expect your insurance premiums (which aren't part of the state and aren't necessary - we have the NHS remember) to go up?

Common sense imo.

Have you seen the areas they have increased the congestion zone too? residential areas west, there was low congestion in Kensington so i cant see why they felt the need to go against the voting public to increase it to somewhere its not needed, they plan to increase it as far as wood green, i live in wood green and to increase it this far is ridiculous

Also i grew up on a farm and i can see the benefits of keeping the fox population down, i may not agree with the way they kill the foxes but i do see the need to kill them, its not fun being woken at 3.30am to stop foxes killing the lambs. Stopping the hunts has had a bad effect, look in london, the fox numbers are definately on the up

I think that is the issue here though, with foxes it is not just a case of there are to many of them lets do it properly. It was lets let our dogs savage a fox while we sit on our horses.

i just feel as joor said people have this attitude where if it doesnt effect me then i dont care, well these things do effect me so i do care, some of you who wont have the CC bother you wont give to fucks, that is until they put it in Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle etc

Before long it'll be pushed further and further out of the built up areas and cover places that its not needed, like they are doing in London already.

I'm amazed people cant see this

I'm all for ID cards but no way for video survilliance.

I just feel it'd be too much of a breach into privacy and how long before it religion gets involved and so on and you can't even have affairs or whatever without consequences.

I know that sounds bad but humans should be known for their individual choices and not for making every choice solely based on who is watching you.

I believe the phrase: 'people shouldn't be scared of their governments, but governments should be scared of their people' applies perfectly here as introducing such things only encourages us to fear our government and the ever-increasing hold they seem to have on our lifes.

Sorry but the whole congestion charge whine is just laughable.

London has one of the best public transport systems in the country. Use it, then you won't have to worry about the congestion charge.

They are bringing it into Manchester also (which also has a very good transport system) but only if there is significant (and although I can't remember the figures, its something like £1.5bn) investment into the public transport system.

I would use public transport every day, except that it is impractical to use it between Bingley and Horsforth. If I worked within Leeds city centre though (which is where any congestion charge would be located) then I would be perfectly happy to use the train or bus.

As for fox hunting - there's nothing stopping you going out and shooting foxes, assuming you have the appropriate licences. What has been banned is hunting of foxes (and other animals like hares I believe) with dogs. And do you really think the fox population in Wood Green has increased because they're not hunting them with horses and hounds? lol

Again I sent out a request for some common sense please.

lol, try going through that sort of system before you comment on it :)

if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear from the legit usage. if it helps them catch naughty people, and puts people off doing stuff they shouldnt, from terrorism to nicking handbags from old ladies, good for them.
the only problems are:
someone else comes into power - as long we maintain a democratic state thats going to be a no brainer
someone else getting access to said info - well, plausible, but i think it would be unlikely at best. and anyway, do you REALLY think someone is going to learn, or pay someone with the skill, to hax0r into the Joors file and find out what you had for breakfast and how fast u went to work yesterday ? you are a tiny amoeba in the sea compared to the things people would go after, stop being so damned paranoid and martyred.

the only thing i would worry about would be a lack of public right to see related info, and so forth, like your own criminal record. dont overly want the "please come with us onto this unmarked CIA plane to where noone will find you" stage ;)

The scene your all describing is a view of what it may be like.

Those most in power are most likely to become power-hungry.

If they can use survillance to catch terrorists - what's next? Criminals? Fine. Going onto private property? Hmm. Shagging your best friend's wife?

Things evolve more quickly than you expect - and whos to tell if this ends up the same.

He can see things , you cant ...
He cares, he use his brain to understand whats behind , you dont, or u cant...

The people in the local asylum can see things that I cant as well, if you apply your logic to this, then there really are monsters coming out of the walls, I just cant see them because Im not using my brain, right?

Everytime u use your credit card,u use your name, you are being tracked. That you want from life?

I'm not a huge fan of being tracked 24/7, but I dont see how its such a big issue - its the price we pay for the progress of civilisation and technology. It does more good than it does harm at the moment, so whats the problem?

Anytime , they know where you are , and can kill you.
Makes you like all other ppl , u are afraid to move on in your life.

What? are you completely bonkers? saying things like this make people wonder if you're viewing the same reality we are.

I dont get how you make the transition from ID cards to being killed because people know where I am. This is alarmist sensationlisation of the worst kind, you are not using logic in your thinking and tbh it just sounds like you're spouting bollocks based on what sounds cool to you at the time.

Did you know , how many great scientists , have killed coz they found out , how to create free energy?
Why they are dead now? Coz they wanna control you with electric power.

This is what I'm talking about.

Yea, I heard rumours that petrol companies paid millions to stop alternate types of fuel being developed that could put them out of business, but even that is an unfounded rumour based on supposition.

You have no proof that what you are saying is true, its like me saying that on the other side of the moon there is a macdonalds that gives bigmacs away free, and "they" are covering it up so they can hog the free bigmacs!!!!11oneoen

You are gossiping - talking bollocks to make your own (probably) arse-boring life seem a little more interesting. ZOMG THE GOVERNEMNET IS CONTROLORING OUR BRAINZ!

this is why people inwardly groan when they see another joor thread - but tbh you've just taken it to a whole new level - atleast what joor is saying is kinda interesting on some level.
