Yesterday I played CS.....

For longer than 5 minutes and with some players I recognised!

Tremor and Silentb00b were there, and later Lilz turned up, restored my faith in CS. Noticed Supergray playing on a server with 4 newbs, too scared to join a full server?

I managed over an hour of straight CS yesterday!

Quite amazing!

Considering how fucked up the bullet calc is now, and how idiots who really cannot aim, I mean these guys are ABYSMAL, with no knowledge of the game and no use of radar, still manage to outscore me, its so annoying. Thats basically what stops me playing, I usually start, and progressively get more and more annoyed at how lame the bullets are until I have to leave...

Funny how every pistol round I get 4/0 or whatever, none of the idiots can even hurt me in pistol round because they cant aim. Second round they get mp5's and spray the fuck out of the floor near me and headshot me before my instant 2bullet ak headshot has registered on them... grrrrrrrr

Ive not played cs much this week, hate to say it but atm Id have to echo old whingy bollocks, i.e. there doesnt seem to be any
rational explaination for the game, one day I get 30-8, next day 8-30 (well nearly ). I play exactly the same it seems. I dunno about the spray and pray stuff tho, it works less than any other method in my opinion.
Thank god for DoD is all I can say this week

me thinks cs still rocks tbh, yes you do get flukey headshots from noobs, but that has always been the case,
i still can get a constant 30 score per map, depending on teams etc, get yer fingers out and stop moaning cs still owns ffs.

Well Jobs, its about 100x easier for idiots to get loads of kills now, it just gets so annoying, I have skill, I know the game and I aim much better than them, yet they kill me just as easily despite being complete fools who react so much slower and dont even aim AT me

Its like every shot towards goal in football going in even if the keeper saves it, it still manages to go in ?

Tho I did just get 30/0 in 15minutes on nuke and got abused to pieces for being a cheating admin

Tis so anoying when you 'do' know you reacted much quicker than them, yet you look like the person who has never played the game before, despite the fact you have consistantly beaten much better players for years in terms of speed, reactions, and thought.


Still thats the trade off, you play these hitscan weapon only games, couple it with the totally random halflife netcode, client predictions, various recoil systems, client/server update rates ect...


And you have one 'huge' mess.

Which more often than not ends up meaning it's who lucks out, when two guys are blatting at each other head on/

I dont take beatings from "noobehs", I get randomly killed (sometimes) by stray bullets, from slow reacting idiots, that dont even know how to aim. Where as half a second earlier I had allready put 2 perfectly aimed ak47 bullets into their head, and had it not do any damage...

Thats nothing to do with my skill, as I was spot on, the "noobeh" wasnt spot on, yet he got the kill, even tho he reacted slower and "missed" ?

Youre trying to tell me thats ok ?

CS is played in the CPL ffs, you can win money from playing it, yet you can kill people by not actually having skill, just becuase of lame bullet calc?

If you are referring to the moaning bitches comment I made, then I appologise to both Skyler and Jobbie ( but more to jobbie ) as it does read quite poorly.

Have to agree with that Tremor. I have never heard Jobbie whining/slagging off his teammates or whatever. Same with Dolly actually, which is why I like them.
I dont care how good (or bad) a player is, it dont give them the right to constantly go on and on about it. These are public servers ffs, if a 12 year old kid wants to go on there and get it all wrong its his business (within reason), not Mr Bloody Super-Hero.

I dont care how much people want to delude themselves that Cs is a professional sport either, it certainly isnt professional on a public server, and as soon as something else comes out that captures the imagination all the so-called "professionals" will trot off there.
Anyway, rant over . Jobbie is a jolly good chap all round, its a shame there aint more good players with his attitude.

how did this thread start anyway? i got lost in all the posts about nothing. was it about some old timer playing cs for the first time in a long time? i bet he still sucked, whoever it was, he should stick to jk2. the big llama. who smells. not that i can remember who it was obviously.

I've noticed a disturbing occurence in the forum's of late. Posts start about one subject and then people just post any old shit. Some even lose the plot from the start of their post, and end up with something totally different, like this one.
