Yep Im pimping again DoD is great, I play it all the time lately. The Jolt servers are mostly full of newbies and so are great fun. The BW servers will be fine once they get them back to 16-players, as I have said 12 man servers are TOO BLOODY SMALL FOR DOD !! Not that anyone will listen, no doubt.
Jolt also have a 32 man server, which is absolute carnage on some maps, on the down side it does encourage camping . The "experienced" DoD player seems to think that camping is the way to go, as he seems to equate a score as kills minus deaths. Imo this is not the case, the idea is to take control of the map for your team via the flags. Last night a played a game with some reasonable players, but only about 8 per team. They seemed quite amazed that i ran about capping the flags with my trusty Tommy gun whilst they all tried to remain stationary.Truth is you need some staionary peeps with heavy machine guns as defence, but you also need offence players who are not afraid to die a bit in order to take the enemys positions.
Players with [OWP] after their name seem to be quite good.

Is DoD like TFC? im still getting use to the Controls/Players/Weapons in TFC, there is so many things to choose from it gets very very confusing, im trying atm to use Grenades while firing, seen as tho all the other gits do it to me :/

Ive not played TFC much , but id say no its not. DoD is yer straight make-it-as-real-as-you-can WW2 thing.
Only thing it has in common is you get to choose a class of player, like you do in TFC.

I've noticed a disturbing occurence in the forum's of late. Posts start about one subject and then people just post any old shit. Some even lose the plot from the start of their post, and end up with something totally different, like this one.

TFC is really good fun in matches but unlike CS its crap when you play it public .

You know though, something is wrong because I'm actually spending more time playing CS these days
