What's a pity? Someone who is "genuinely struggling to get the artifact" can go ahead and purchase the item here, thus saving him lots of time and effort. So either he can spend his time trying to get it himself, or can spend it making cash to buy it from someone who has a spare.Shivvering^Away said:Such a pity to see some1 selling this for an extortionate price when ppl are genuinely struggling to get the arti for their own use.
Nice rule, but I don't see how it is neccessarily relevant here. Almost all artifacts can be done solo/duo with bot (including this one). If he's done it himself, not rolled against any friends/guildies who wanted it, what's the problem?Khale said:We have a general rule if someone from the guild tries to sell an artifact they rolled for they get kicked.
No offense Pin but the only reason people are genuinely struggling to get the artifact is because people kill the mob to make a profit from people instead of actually needing the artifact themselves they'd rather force people to pay them for it. This is the way the economy works but need before greed should apply e.g. if you need the artifact do the encounter, if you don't need the artifact don't do the encounter. The current spate of people selling massively needed artifacts (SoM, maddening scalars) is ridiculous and people are becoming extortionately greedy.Someone who is "genuinely struggling to get the artifact"

One artifact drops, one character gets an artifact. Whether that artifact is activated by the person who it dropped to or not makes little difference as someone who needs the artifact gets the artifact.acei said:No offense Pin but the only reason people are genuinely struggling to get the artifact is because people kill the mob to make a profit from people instead of actually needing the artifact themselves they'd rather force people to pay them for it. If you cannot be there to kill it for credit, how are you going to kill it to get the artifact?Elyand said:Pin look it from this way then.. you cant play 24/7.. u get youre hands on an artifact somehow... yay... but wait... i need encounter also and im not online 24/7 so i cant guard it and kill it when it pops...
Why? lol, although he seems to think the "give it away" option is funny, if his guild helped him raise 16p then he should have given one of them the SoM if he doesn't intend to use it? Because he needs money is pointless because in the end he'll no doubt end up needing it again and have to farm another one. A the moment the entire realm needs to do "need before greed" with the artifacts where if you don't intend to use it let someone else have it.Belomar said:Now that Robby explained the situation, I expect to see a lot of people apologizing for their wanton flaming.
