Considering you can make money in RvR also now, theres other ways to make alot of money fast with alot more fun (depending on where you go n what you do etc).

40p for a much wanted item, seems fair to me. I thought the idea of decent items were they needed more time and effort put in to recieve such things?
If you not into farming money or items to sell on to make money to spend on what you desire, theres the option of doing the encounter yourself with guild/friends and getting it totaly cost free, altho that would maybe take longer.

Otherwise you'd have every lvl40+ rr1+ guy running around all capped out in ToA'd gear.

35plat is more than reasonable for a GoV artifact.

With basic character requirements and a few friends it is simple to farm that amount in a matter of hours. Compare that to the time it takes to camp GoV, then successfully complete the encounter and earn the artifact, and it's really not a big deal.

I paid 45plat for my ML10 legs, I would have happily spent 100plat. This is not to say I am flooded with money, but it takes such a small amount of time to farm simple repetitive mobs to earn cash like that.
