It's simple as that: either there is somebody who spends 15 plat on the sword or not. That's totally to the seller and the (potential) buyer. If there is no buyer then the seller might lower the prize or just keep the sword. All very simple. If you would not spend 15p on the sword - fine, don't buy it. But stfu on other people trades.
