As for aesthetics that's aesthetics for you. The colours aren't particularly jarring, the text is readable. The navigation could do with some form of 'you are here' included (e.g. changing the background of the current section)

Myself I quite like the colour scheme, although again that's down to personal taste.

However, that's beside the point... you started your comment with "it's SHITE". Very professional. Retracting and saying "ooh no I didn't mean it really I meant *BS*" doesn't qualify.

Listen, this has gone on long enough.

The resolve I see is for Sparky to be allowed a certain amount of freedom within the forums so long as his fruity blue words don't get the better of him - and for the slate to be wiped clean without people "naturally expecting the worse from him" as Lone put - who incidently is THE best Mod on the forums (no offence to any others meant but his approach is what moderation is all about).

If he / we post in the future and the subject is both relevant and untroublesome - we'd like it to remain so - and not be tarnished. Anyone who posts any form of abuse within any of our posts from now on will be reported to a moderator mwahahahahaha

Well, it think amotus' got it about right there after all.. our first post was "come look at our tour page" as we (Chaos Theory) are going on a tour around ALL the real life locations found in Albion in April. then Sly comes on a feels she has to post about how she got us banned for us getting drunk and helping her and her entire guild on their level 50 epics, I think thats an evil backstab, get us banned for helping you then rub it in our face, and that totally deserved a not-too-pleasant response - but didn't actually get one. Then Inbred360 comes on and starts dissing our web site for the ammont of times we said "C*nt" and saying sparky is

well i'm sorry you don't like it Bubba it's our fooking site and we'll say whatever the fook we like. again quite rightly deserving a flame reply.
I think Sparklehorses insults were blatantly said as a retort, he was quite obviously started on and was only acting in retaliation and of course once you start attacking someones reputation they are going to get pissed.

so lets look at this in brief.

1) Sparky says "hey look at our tour site"
2) Sly says "haha i got you banned"
3) sparky says "oh well so what i'm back in 3 days"
4) Inbred comes on slagging our site and dishing out a personal insult to Sparklehorse.
5) sparklehorse retailiates with a "yea right say that to my face" type post
6) forum descends into bollocks
7) forum gets closed

quite obviously a provoked response intended to get him into trouble with a 'sly dig' to the ribs. note also that nothings been said to the person who provoked it, Jed Clampet himself, Inbred360.

No Filmgoblin - I retracted the statement "it's SHITE" and reiterated it using professional terms to justify my opinion. My opinion has still not changed - I do think it's SHITE - I dod however choose to rephrase it so as not to seem "childish" I think as Dam put it.

And as I have echosed in previous posts - that comment and conversation was between me and him - why did you feel the need to post your attack at me on here? This has nothing to do with you and so your comments are quite unwelcome.

If Sparky can come back with a new name and a new attitude, and get along without drawing untold attention to himself with rampant swearing then fine, but I'm not revoking a banning because he earnt it. People get flamed here all the time, people DO NOT react the way he did.

Ok I think a slate clean is a good idea at this present time the discussion is degrading into going over conversations in extreme details now and that just doesn't work

Its like trying to justify to your mum that dying your head pink and purple really would be a good idea and help u make friends and get a great executive job

Exactly anyhow I am closing it off because I think everyone made their points and I don't reckon going off on it again will help anyone

I suggest pming if anyone has a real gripe or problem to me or another mod and anything else scream about on IRC or summin

Everyone has a clean slate, but if you dramatically step out of line now we will come down on you like a ton of bricks, chances are given rarely and exploiting or taking the piss out of them is not a good thing
