One question tho:

Why is there a WS calc. on healers/shamans (in mid), but not for our casters?

2) Caster classes excluded from calculation - for obvious reasons.

Isn't that the same obvious reason?

kk got ur point Keel, i'll update it to fix this problem.

Bonehead, there are 2 reasons for it ..1st is that i dont have data for casters, and 2nd is that they dont usually engage with staves in melee...except maybe BDs.

What i've been wondering for a while, is there also a website which calculates your weapon damagecap? by entering info like: str/dex/quick/rr/+skill/weapon spec etc.

Fully buffed, I have 357 str and 1982 ws

The calculator returned 1973 ws

An error of 0.45%, so within the margin quoted.

Interestingly, it also has the same difference (9) between actual and calculated value for my unbuffed str of 202. If other people find they get the same difference between actual and calculated value for their buffed and unbuffed damage stats, then you may be able to apply a correction factor to the base value to eliminate the error.

try typing your actual str there instead for example : 357
ie your chars str value

hehe, i tried to put numbers in "Damage stat*:" field as well . str = my str, and i dont remember my buffed or unbuffed str, tried with several stuff, nuttin work :C

0.5% error was my guess tbh

i tested it with various WS values of my SB with various str and sword spec (my weapon). sometimes it fits perfectly, sometimes not. i was unable to see the trend and apply the correction. maybe i'll do it in the future.

u should write "50" (w/o quotes) into weapon spec section, "11" (w/o quotes) into items, and "357" (w/o quotes) into last line....tho i doubt that u have so high str

it calculates WS for my SB fine this way.

ppl, if u see that this thing calculates incorrectly (it does so at least for shammies and hth savages) -- plz PM me actual data of ur char, and i'll try to fix it. And more data -- better, various WSs for different str/dex and hth skill for savages for example.

Tested it for my inf while unbuffed.. proggy calculated 1049 for me, which is exactly my WS
Haven't tested buffed yet tho... anyways: nice work m8!!

but try fix the way the WS show at the begining i thought it was a fault msg from Iexplore maybe add a line there say " U WS is XXX"

ohh and btw how in hell can alll u ppl like pin etc. find all this calculations formulars?

Just tested Wittor's WS from that screenie on "Nerf dragonfang!"-topic.. It gave 1558 while he has 1559.. not bad
