i got a key and 7 hours left on client

but cant creat account ill see if its true as they say in the mail i got

that i can creat a account in the game later

Thats what im hoping for, if not.....well, then i have this cool US open beta client installed on my PC telling me "haha, im here, but you can't use me, nah nah"

Afaik there are a unlimited amount of keys, closed beta has officially ended
All the yanks are prolly hammering the hell outta fileplanet and the wow site. I'd wait till first thing in the morning when they are all tucked up in bed and try again.
As ive just logged off now the servers are being rebooted for a fix, so your not missing much.

I'm at home but this DL is taking a million years. Plus it's lagging up everything else I try to do on the internet which is annoying. :|

I'm using the Blizzard Downloader.

Don't use the Blizzard downloader, it's terrible. I used ABC 2.6.9 and it was atleast 3 times faster. Also consider downloading the net limiter thing (don't recall exact name) to reduce the obsene Upload rates

Heh, thats your mistake. Dont use the Blizzard downloader if you can possibly help it.

Its just a bittorrent client with the .torrent file built in. Get the torrent file and use whatever Bittorrent program you prefer. That way you can set upload/download limits to prevent your connection being unusable while the download is in process.

Bittorrent has no problem resuming, you can safely cancel the Blizzard downloader and resume it with another without problems.

Azerus kept on crashing with DAoC on, so I'm trying shareaza now... seems to be running fine!

The interface is more like a P2P client and it's easy to use

Is there any trouble with lag on the servers or the servers being full? Or is it all ok?

only 1 server lag hickup (a really short one where the game froze for like 2 seconds, and it wasn't just me as my gf and some of my friends and me were playing and still are playing in lan and they all had the same prob) but other than that, its amazing how smooth it runs. No loading cities, no loading zones, no loading dungeons (afaik) even when you enter the capital wich is a HUGE city there's like no lag at all. this game is nearing perfection (but that's just my opinion after 14 hours of playing only stopping to eat and go to the bathroom)

horrendous lag on server 13 (US East PvP) tonight - was unplayable and lots of people were not pleased

apart form that i am so enjoying the game, if you ever stroll by 13 i am Fedaykin Gnome Warlock

Test4 was full last night. I got pings of 200-250 max at peak moments.

I can't understand why they still insist on localized servers.
200ms is not that bad at peak hours on a full server.
